Need some advice on a first time grow

  1. so i've contemplated growing for a while. i finally found some weed with seeds in it (i don't usually have that issue lol) and i've already wrapped them in wet paper towel. they sprouted so i'll be planting them this week. i don't really have the time for a real grow, but i'm gonna plant them in woods by my house (why not?). it'll be in a place no one ever goes, so i should be fine. my question is, if i don't tend to then much will i get anything? if we don't get rain for weeks i'll water it but nothing more than that. i figure, if i get ANYTHING, it's free weed, and if i don't then i have nothing invested in it anyway. so if i leave it unattended, will i get anything? i mean as little as 5 grams is fine for me. i'd just like to have some free herb, and would like the satisfaction of smoking bud that i grew myself :D thanks for any advice you guys have!

  2. I don't know where you live, but I wouldn't put them in the woods. You are far better off putting them under some CFL's unless you have a nice open spot outside where lots of hot sun will hit them all day for 3-4 months. Watering will be an issue. Someone is likely to find them too.

    Just my 2 cents

  3. thanks for the reply, and yeah i know what you mean about the lights and the people finding them. but imm POSITIVE no one will find them. and i'm not trying to start growing a lot, it's just between planting the seeds or throwin them out. i meant, if i just plant them and leave them mostly unattended, am i gonna get any bud? i almost exclusively vape, so even less potent buds are fine if they're free :D

  4. Grab a 4 or 6 pack of Jobe (sp?) plant spikes.  Drive them in around mid to late may.  Maybe grab a pack of "bloom" or "flower" spikes and plug them in around August.

Your jungle bush will thank you for it.

  5. that sounds good lol. i'll give it a shot soon and after a few weeks i'll let you guys know how it turns out. i've been reading a lot, and i've read a bunch about mites. is this going to be a major issue? since i won't be there a lot i won't really be able stop them, but i'm just curious if they are ALWAYS an issue.
