OKay so I am a first time grower , looking to grow aeroponics in a 7x4 grow room in my house. here are the specs of what im planning: room: 7x4 grow room , waterproof flooring and air tight . has a window but i will have it sealed. entry to the room will be through a secret door hidden in a wardrobe. (reason for window delete) plants: 8 grow sites , in an aeroponic grow bucket 8 site kit from ebay. (with air pump and stones) lighting: 2 HTGSupply 6" air cooled (not sure what wattage or ballast ) ventilation: unsure seeds : seed bank? I am new to this but i have about $1800 and alot of ambition . the grow room is beside my closet , can i have intake from there ? and where should i exhaust, outside to the back yard ? also unsure of how many watts my plants need. I basically need a complete list of items i need that you reccommend , including fans, vents, ac, lights, and all other equipment. i basically need a blueprint of everything i have to do to start growing... i am trying to save as much money as possible so try to make it wallet friendly. anything will help . .
Well Dude, a complete "blueprint" is an involved task!!! Nirvana in the UK has been a trusted seed source. I would say you need a 4" centrifugal fan, 6" is such hi volume & more noisy. get a large Carbon filter to run your exhaust air thru prior to exiting the house. you do need to pull direct fresh outside air in. put in a 6" dryer vent, larger would be better , or 2 4" vent pipe. you need 3 times teh inlet air of your outlet size. dryer vent sticking outside looks very normal & can be picked up at any lumber supply./ hardware place. if you have a chimney, exhaust air up it. in in a neihborhood I say run a chimney pipe up past the roof line 2-3 '. teh fan will jet the smelly air up high in the air! a 600 watt light will produce fine results & heat & current draw will not be high. 400 watt lamps will do.in bloom stage teh more light the heavier buds!! on the lamps, use a 220 vac power source. it keeps your "peak voltage" looking much lower! how much are you looking to grow? there are several ways to run your room depending on what your goal is. do you intend to run a mother and clone or grow from seed? indica or sativa? how automated do you need it to be?
