Effects of leaving weed tea out overnight?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by Stonermaned, Mar 26, 2014.

  1. I've heard a rumour of people cooking weed tea (in my case it's usually weed cocoa) and then just leaving it in the fridge for a day or two before consumption. They then claim to get a more potent high by doing this. Is there any truth to this? Does weed (after being cooked, baked, etc.) become more potent as time passes by?

the active compounds needs to become bio-available (blended with something that is absorbed by your body with ease). time allows for more of the compounds to 'blend' and decarboxylate. nothing magical happens, just science.

  3. Yeah ill usually make a couple bottles and let them sit for awhile then put them in fridge for a bit so i get some nice weed iced tea

  4. Makes sense. Thanks! :) For how long would you guys recommend leaving it in the fridge then? Is there an inverted-U relationship, so that too much time will make it less potent?
