Whats up guys. This is my first attempt at hydro. I have a 3x3 ebb and flow table with a 27 gallon resivior. I will be using a 900w Led for veg ( started with a 600w mh but the light blew) and 1000w hps for flowering. I am using heavy 16 veg a&b, prime, and roots for nutrients with tap water that I let sit for 24 hrs+. I supplement with co2 and room is ventilated with fresh air every 2 hrs. I currently have 4 regular white fire aliens, 3 regular cheese dogs, and 5 regular crouching tiger hidden aliens ( lol hell of a name). Plants were popped back in the middle of febuary. Room temps range from 69-79 degrees F and ph is 5.6-6.0 . They started of slow but have exploded with growth. I just topped them all and plan an putting up a scrog net.

I dont know how ebb and flow systems operate, but if that hydroton gets wet youre going to have a lot of mold. Again, I have no experience with ebb and flow so I dont know if it will get wet. Ignore me if what i just said is retarded.
naaa..ebb and flow is just filling up to a level with nute mix then draining it, several times an hour. mold won't take hold but you can get algae problems. some panda film with slits and a star cut pattern where the stalks emerge will block the light from the grow media. no algae=no algae gnats...
So I started noticing rust spots on some of my leaves. I had not checked the tds of my tap water so I went n got a tds meter n my tap water was over 300ppm ( yikes!) So I check the resivior n its over 1000 ppm which is waaaay to high. So look like I will be switching to filtered water. Lesson learned. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Grasscity Forum mobile app

Switch to my 1000w hps and topped the plants again. Another week and im switching to 12/12. Im down to only 4 crouching tigers because the stem broke on one of them. I was able to take some clones from it though. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
