Strawberry Dream Flowering

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by MrMileHigh, Mar 25, 2014.

  1. Does anybody have any tips for flowering Strawberry Dream or Bubba Kush? They have been vegging for about 8-weeks, so I'll be putting them into flowering at the end of this week.

    Here they are:

  2. 1milehigh, they are very good looking. I don't know these strains, but what I do know is that light = bud.
Keep us posted on how the flowering goes.

  3. I was mistaken, it's Strawberry Creme. Erdbeer x Blueberry Haze.

Trimmed them up a little and did some super cropping on the Bubba, the main cola is now filling the empty space. 1395978535672.jpg 1395978561634.jpg

  4. Day #3 of Flowering, over the weekend I transplanted them into 7 gallon pots with a 50/50 Ocean Forest/Perlite mix, added a Bloom Booster LED just for shits and giggles, and put down some cinder blocks to raise the shorter plants closer to the light.

    Here they are now.

  6. That is some very good news! Mine vegged for about 8 weeks, are under a 600w Hps and are in 7 gallon pots.

Yes, they are the ones on the left. Your plants looked great, I hope I can get that yield, but it's my first grow so I'll keep my expectations a little lower :).

  7. With 50% more light and a 7 gallon pot I would be surprised if you didn't pull 200 grams from that plant alone as long as you keep up what your doing and don't harvest to early (it is more difficult than it sounds)

I will be following along for sure  :smoking:

  8. Looks great man cant wait to see what these buds look like, will you be updating this thread or do you have a journal?  :smoking:

  9. Thank you for the kind words. I'll just be updating this thread, I didn't start posting on the boards until a few weeks ago. Next grow will be some trees in a 10x10 tent, so I'll do a full journal for that :).

  12. I'm about 12 days into flowering now. They were getting out of control, humidity levels were too high, and it was getting tough to water them, so I decided to remove all of the lower growth.

  13. You don't plan on trimming any more do you I almost screwed up doing that in flower.
It's best to trim the bottom a week before flower but other than that bro nice looking plants.

I would be tying to branches down and your yield will almost double

  14. Subbed what is your growing space? A closet?

  15. No, I'm leaving my hands off of them for the rest of the grow. They're at about the peak of their stretch now, so I figured it would be a good time to just get it over with so they can recover before packing on the buds.

The grow space is a 4x4x7 shower, which makes watering until runoff a breeze, it just goes right down the drain.

  16. Do you water when your plants dry?

  17. They are in a 50/50 mix of perlite and Ocean Forest, so I have to give them each a gallon of water every other day (that's when the top two inches of dirt is dry). They get fed every other watering.

  18. OK cause I have 2 currently under cfls almost 5 weeks of 12/12 and I water them a little bit every day and they just won't stop growing lol

  19. I've been managing the growth with super cropping, but the strawberry creme is definitely a stretcher. I have them under a 600w HPS with an air cooled hood that is almost the exact size of my grow shower, they love it a little too much.
