how much cannabinoids in oil?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by Halfbakedjake, Mar 24, 2014.

  1. Anyone know how much cannibinoids are in oil? thc, cbn, cbd and so on.
How about BHO vs other forms of extractions like qwiso or qwet.
How would you change the extraction or drying/purging process to change those said ratios for lets say higher cbn.

  2. lol that question is way too general. waaaaay too many different variables that effect those things

  3. I will say though, a lengthy decarboxylation can help degrade THC into CBN

  4. I want a general answer

In general what are the percentages of thc, cbd, And cbn for bho, qwiso, qwet, and so on.

Which extraction works the best for which cannibinoid.

  5. Can't really even give a general answer to that! More of that answer depends on the potency of the plant material you used. Did you use shwag? Mids? Dank? Hash?

Let's say you use high quality bud. Still too many variables! How was it grown? How old/fresh is it (more related to CBN)? What is the THC/CBD content?

You see where I'm going with this?

If you use strain "A" in a QWISO and QWET (same volume) it would depend on how well that solvent extracts but generally it would be very close.

But if you use strain "B" in a QWISO and QWET, it would be completely different than the outcome of strain "A" because the cannabinoid profile is completely different.

A simple answer is: the solvent will usually pull almost all cannabinoids present in the plant material. The THC/CBD/CBN content is dependent upon the strain, potency, freshness, etc., not so much the solvent used to extract.
