transplanting into regular containing soil?

  1. would it be ok to transplant plants from a 1 gallon in roots organic soil, so 3 gallon pots with regular container soil? roots can be pretty pricy, and transplant multiple plants into the bulk container soil would be much cheaper. Maybe throw some perlite in it and call it a day? would they grow just fine? sorry if i seem kind of confusing lol thanks guys

  2. You get what you put in to it.

  3. Well I figure that the roots is mainly a base soil, and I would only need them to be in this soil for a month, so would they do fine?

  4. Almost any potting soil will work fine along with ssome added nutrients .. you should only do one plant per container . Putting multiple plants in a container dosent get good results .

  5. They will grow in regular soil, but will not grow big because of the lack of aeration and drainage. If you want bigger yield and such then i should reccommend you to get perlite, vermiculite, worm castings and potting soil if you want to go cheap.

  6. depends did 3 plants in a 100 gallon smartie before and it yielded just ththe same if not a bit more then single plant pots. So it can work.

  7. Useing such a big pot .. yes I would expect decent results ... was just saying its generally not a good idea . I have done it myself putting multiple plants one one hole or one pot and would have gotten better results spacing them out in their own spot : )

  8. I tried "Clumps" a few years ago with bag seed, it worked great considering the seeds were free, great crop, but I'm sure single plants would have been a better yield per plant, I have to say, it looked like shrubbery.

I got Ripped that year, Cock sucker got all but one clump, it was the best one too, it lasted me October till April.

To top it off the guy was running his mouth about it, but he was the fool, I f'er up and missed a male, 80% seeded, heavy, all but the clump he missed. He comes back around here, he's compost....

  9. How many in a clump did you plant ? And how much yield would you say you got from that one spot ?

  10. 3-5, 1.5 pounds, and that was without messing with it, just hit it with some garden food from time to time. Sorry about the delayed replay digger, I never saw the post.
