btw - the infamously deadly Spanish Flu (two mutational forms of the H1N1 virus) of 1917-1918 that killed around 30 million people. more than the entire WW1 war. "only" had a case fatality rate of 10% to 20%. Ebola's average outbreak fatality rate is around 83% making it dwarf the Spanish Flu in terms of deadliness! But Ebola only has the 2nd highest fatality rate. Around the world, rabies is number one having a CFR that approaches 100%! Only about 10 people that have been diagnosed with rabies have reportedly survived and only one has survived without anti-viral treatment. However, rabies is also 100 percent preventable with vaccinations if patients receive them before the onset of symptoms.
