Like Vladimir Nabokov?

  1. One of my favorite authors and absolute favorite literary critic. Love Ada, or Ardor. Bend Sinister. and Pale Fire especially. What about you?

  2. I've only read Lolita. I thought it was pretty good, especially the first half, but I thought the second half droned on a bit too much. He's definitely a hell of a writer though. Especially considering English wasn't even is first language. I haven't really looked into any of his other works yet. I heard Pale Fire was suppose to be even better than Lolita, so I guess I'll give it a look through.

  3. Only read lolita as well. But I absolutely loved it!

Trying to finish up the Dostoevsky I haven't read yet but always looking for recommendations.

    Pale fire it is

    I like Nabokov.

I first read his essay in good readers, and fell in love with his style.
