hillbilly88 outdoor auto grow journal 2014

  1. Hello, I'm a beginner grower (kind of) I have some experience with a couple successful plants grown in the past (photoperiod). Well after doing research and wanting a quick harvest to avoid the dreaded fall police search for plants, I decided to try something new to me, autoflowers. After many hours of looking for strains that suit me and that would coincide with my plans I decided with Buddha magnum and short stuff #1. I ordered a few Buddha magnum seeds to make sure I received them, which I did. I am currently germinating 4 and have one already that sprouted (test) I plan on ordering quite a few more of these and the short stuff very soon though I have a few more weeks till I can safely put them outdoors without danger of frost. I plan on. Planting around 25 magnum (feminised) and 10 short stuff #1 (regular) that I plan on polinating heavily to get a big supply of seed for a large discrete grow later this year. I chose the magnum because of the high yield and a other grow that I seen that many wouldn't believe would come from a auto, which I will post a link to later when I have time.( 772 grams off 4 indoors, but his first time was 3 oz each) their isn't much info out on this strain and only a few grows I have found. Many have never heard of it. It is labeled the most powerful growing auto that has ever existed. And supposedly becomes a monster outdoors (no outdoor grows i have found online) Here are a few stats from of top my head without having to look it up.

    Buddha magnum
    Height: 2 to 4 feet
Average yield: 150 grams per plant.
Days to harvest: 75-80 days from seed.

    Short stuff#1
    Height: 10-15 inche
    Yield:14-36 grams each.
    Days to harvest: 56-63 days

I will have more photos to come in the near future and updates with the progress. It may be some time between the first few posts but I'm sure it will become more frequent after they all get going. Let's see if my little experience, ton of research, and green thumb can pull off what I never have done and give complete beginners and those with little experience the motivation and enthusiasm to be successful and continue to enjoy what we all have in common.

It's not like I'm searching thousands of names to copy or see if there are variations of. Js man.

  7. But on another note, all the magnums sprouted. :) will have pics later after work. ( yeah got a new job) unfortunately have to lay off smoking for piss test and have randoms. :( but once in awhile I'm gonna burn one after. Just need the money to get my life back on track till I can get a job where I don't have to take tests. But I'm gonna sell most crop this year to get to my goal. So I'm ok with that. Till then, burn a few for me.

  16. Well got them back. Here is some pics. Unfortunately not as far along as yours justhillbilly. But I'm glad all 5 sprouted, no money lost there. Few days I'm going to make my big order and get them started. By then no frost risk, and I know to continue with herbie. So my plan as outlined on first post is on schedule and I'm a happy camper. :)

I'm thinking of ordering a a couple extra strains to cross this year to get certain traits I want and start a new strain of my own. But anyways, I decided on my spots. It's a area I had a plant years ago that grew healthy and big. Right amount of sun and concealment, dark soil that hold perfect amount of moisture without overdoing it. I believe this year is going to be great for me. And hopefully all of you. But Buddha magnum are going to be my main crop. I still haven't found a outdoor grow online of these so I guess this will be a first documented one. So once outdoors I will try to provide as much info as I can.

  18. I can see a growth spurt the past 3 days. The small ones in the last pics are opening up great. Still small, but speeding up a bit. I'm going to start posting pics once a week to show the differences. Going to move to bigger containers shortly. In next couple days I'm going to make another order of mixed autos and will post what I order. Also will pick one of any auto you all would like to see grown outdoors. Hope you all are doing well with your endeavors. Well off to bed, another long workday ahead.
