Small Greenhouse Tent For Outdoor Grow?

  1. hi there.   i am far from an expert but I will say I have some experience that I can share.  I am in the other hemisphere so months are diff but 'ideal growing temp' is the same.

I did a late start flower last year to see how it would go....the light was ok...not as good as summer but as soon as the temps dropped she stalled.  Healthy, but changed focus.  Veg is different as less demand on the plant but if they are cold they will focus on survival not flourishing and some reading will tell you that it could effect the plant for life but I dont know about that.

IMO I think that is still a bit cool.  I think getting less light sitting on a window sill but nice and warm would do better than the other way around.  That said, the dome would probably hold a nice heat during the day...maybe just bring 'em in at night.

Do you mean to move established seedlings into the tent? or plant seeds and put em straight in?  having some roots developed would help because they would be in the middle of the pot being shielded from cold.

Big or little pots?  I am not sure....bigger would hold heat better.......but would also take longer to heat up......

1 thing I know for sure....if you give it a crack...next year you can tell us!  =) (...but that still doesn't mean we will get the same April as in the test....)

30-40 degrees is way to low for cannabis. Not saying they won't grow but it's growth will be stunted. Ideally you want the temps around 55-65 at night and around the mid 70s during the day.

  3. Temperatures here will be 50-60 high and 30-40 low...? way too cold ..keep it at 77f/25c or she will stall and just stop growing, add some heat but keep an eye on it !
