Orgasmic Organics w/Mjmama

Discussion in 'Outdoor Grow Journals' started by mjmama25, Mar 19, 2014.

  1. Well, the suns shining bright and the lady bugs are out in numbers, so it seems like it's time for this years grow journal. I'll be keeping things a little bit smaller this season, so as not to attract unwanted attention. Last year we had 3 knuckle headed teenagers with a riffle steel half of our crop. SMH...

We've added a lot of extra security this season, including new security cameras and our now 7 month old German Shepherd, Diesel.

The grow will be using all organic super soil in raised beds. Organic pest control. Pretty much the same recipes and format I used last season. I'll post the recipe in my next comment.

The plants will all be fem seeds from attitude. I couldn't miss that birthday promo. Here's my line up.

    Stacked Kush
    Sour Kush
    818 Headband
    Blue OG
    Black Sugar Rose
    Flowerbomb Kush

So far I've only cracked the Sour Kush and Stacked Kush. My order from attitude just came with the rest. I hope everyone enjoys the grow!

Hey buddy, thanks for stopping by the new thread! I have lime and oyster shell in the recipe already. I could always add more
rock dust next time I turn my soil. Although my base soil has a good amount of native soil with natural mineral content, plus lots of rock dust from last season. I don't think it's lacking at all. If I was mixing my soil from scratch I would probably add more. But I'm working with some pretty lush dirt ATM. :)

  7. I'm glad you like the title hahahaha. I couldnt resist once I thought of it.

We just inherited some weaponry for a relative that had to go into a care home. But I'm hoping not to ever need it. Violent crimes are rare in my little town. The punk kids that ripped me last season were from out of town, and are still going through the court systems now. Idiots. Guns or not, we aren't push overs. ;)

  8. true that my bad was thinking fresh soilmix and yeah being in ground probably have plenty minerals down there. Aww yeah should be a sexy dirt this year. Even better than last. The beauty of super soil. Ages like fine wine.

  9. neither are we thats why we survived 2 years at theoldplace eventhough it was always open to the world. 24/7 watch for 2 years at a time was interesting to say the least. Its called dedication. ;) not many could have done what I did was a tough situation so Impretty proud ofmyself.

No doubt. Growing can be hard work! I've been enjoying getting out in the sun and mixing my soil. It's the most physical labor I've done since having the baby. I need it. I've got all my amendments added and half the soil mixed so far. This years challenge will be keeping the pup out of the plants.

  11. Hey mjmamma glad to see your new journal up and running! Subbed in for the show.

  12. Hey girl! Welcome to the grow. I'm aiming for short/wide plants with lots of tops this season. What's your game plan? Got anything started yet?

  13. I've popped some beans( literally put them in cups yesterday)not sure what's all going where yet but I popped
    Purpd
    Lemon skunk
    Cheesequake
    Wappa
    Green crack
    Black sugar rose
    Critical kush
    Cotton candy
    Ice
    Bubba kush
    Purple widow x crazy train

Then I picked up some xxx and platinum bubba clones the other day just a couple so I can bush them out then chop em up for babies....

Im going to do 3 plants in that plot that had 6 last year. 1 plant in the raised bed where those bag seed plants were. Plus a few 65 gal and 45 gal smarties. That's the plan atm anyways haha

  14. Sounds like a good plan. More space per plant always pays off. Let me know which bubba you like best. Thats a strain I'd love to grow again in the future.

  15. Bubba Kush 2.0 fem seed plant from HSO. Mike gifted her to me when we all met at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. She is gonnabe a beast and im gonna take cuts so if anyone wants onelet meknow. ;) IMG_20140319_183955.jpg

  16. 21 % thc andhigher yielding supposedly so we will see how it does against the original i had in the past. From the looksof it should be astrongperformer.

    What's the genetics?

I'm sitting here enjoying a nice OG joint from last seasons stash. Half Deadhead OG and half OG18. 100% tasty. ;)

  18. Good to see a new thread Mjmama! luck you can start so early.

Might be trying the  Black Sugar Rose and Flowerbomb Kush too, don't know much about either.

It'll be nice having serval of us growing the same strain so we can compare notes. Another GC friend highly recommended the Sugar Black Rose, so I swapped it for another strain I was going to run. And the Flowerbomb Kush sounds like a winner to me. Great genetics.

  20. uh huh...sure...we'll just see about you keeping it small :ey: Go mama go
