I took some soil out of the container and ran a water runoff test. Ph levels are a tad high. 7.0-7.2 I added a little under a teaspoon of limestone. This should help to balance things out. ------------------------- All of my advice comes from years of farming and green housing experience. I'm a hacker, I'm a grower, I'm a stunt man. Come on man, you know better than to pH runoff lol I think it's the nitrogen.... not bad at all though.... just don't feed it for a while (if you have been) and let it just keep rocking with what's in the soil.
Appreciate the advice Gandalf. I did add a little nute (just a little bit more of tomato tone as I thought it might have been low. Lol) a couple of days ago and that might be the issue. I won't add nutes anymore, my soil should be perfect.. I hope haha Thanks for that reminder haha (sometimes college students never sleep... I had to adjust my budget slightly as I am pushing more money towards odor control.... The number of strains I am growing had to be lowered :/ But..the choice was made.... And auto berry is going to be my outdoor grow for now, seeds are in the mail. I will purchase a couple others soon as I can ------------------------- All of my advice comes from years of farming and green housing experience. I'm a hacker, I'm a grower, I'm a stunt man. Thanks man! this is my first official grow, I've grown a little bit outside but never went thru all the way because of my lacking of research in stealth, growing etc at that time. But I appreciate everyone's comments on here I'll take some more pics later tonight or tomorrow to show how her nitrogen levels are. ------------------------- All of my advice comes from years of farming and green housing experience. Well I'm back again haha Here is twisty. I wanted twisty's new lower growth to get better lighting so I have constructed a make shift way to tie down my fan leaves ------------------------- All of my advice comes from years of farming and green housing experience. Picture drop Quick and bushy, still adjusting to the LST Headband Today will also be a transplant day for headband. I'm a little behind on transplanting her, but remember back to the fan 'decapitating' her incident .. I needed to wait to keep from shock Twisty ------------------------- All of my advice comes from years of farming and green housing experience. I'm a hacker, I'm a grower, I'm a stunt man. Just finished transplanting headband. It was a little earlier than I wanted.. But she is growing so fast that she needs her final soil to be able to get all the nutes she needs. Will update more later today ------------------------- All of my advice comes from years of farming and green housing experience. I'm a hacker, I'm a grower, I'm a stunt man. Live your life
That really depends on when your nodes start to come in. Some say after your second to third set of nodes it will be ok to start LST. I just really do it when I notice the stem is starting to form it's full color/thickness a little. Remember tho that my first two plants were grown with florescent and cfl lights so they grew a little different (more space between nodes making it easier to play around with LST) With the LED lights I am not entirely sure yet when I'll LST headband. These lights keep the nodes sooooo tight ------------------------- All of my advice comes from years of farming and green housing experience. I'm a hacker, I'm a grower, I'm a stunt man. Just remember u cant just throw dry ammendments in like tomato tone and expect it to be plant available. Stuff like that needs to be added to a basemix and allowed to cook or cycle 4 weeks minimum before planting. Feed thesoil, not the plant.
Yes sir I totally spaced out when I did it. I believe I had been awake for too long and sleep deprived. Lol but thanks man ! ------------------------- All of my advice comes from years of farming and green housing experience. I'm a hacker, I'm a grower, I'm a stunt man. Live your life
