Well we are approaching the end of the summer season. Two and a half months roughly.

With that.... Here are just a couple of my surprises for you guys..

Mixed some fresh organic soil for my new outdoor plants and 7.5 gallons for my indoor plants today.

So total soil I have now 37.5 gallons.. Now you should be asking... Why does he have so much soil 😏

    First outdoor regular plant

    Second outdoor regular plant

    Third outdoor regular plant

The fourth outdoor regular should be sprouting tomorrow..

I will leave them in these pots for a couple of more weeks then transplant to the 2 gallon containers (as we are almost to the end, there is no need to do more than one transplant.. Less stress)

    Next..

Bubblegum day 41 from seed day 27 from showing sex

Sweet mango day 15 from seed
    Day 9 sprouting

Northern lights day 12 from seed

    Day 7 from sprouting

Stay tuned as I am going to be throwing some new mixes into my next soil fertilizing treatment.

I also have a couple more surprises for you guys 😀

  2. Here is the link I use

    http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1116550-Easy-Organic-Soil-Mix-for-Beginners

    1/2 part peat moss
1/2 part humus (compost and/or ewc- can do all compost or all ewc or some mixture of the two)
    1/2 part aeration amendment
1 cup lime (per cubic foot)
    Nutritional amendments
    Rock dust

    Etc

But for my next soil amendments I'll be throwing a couple extras in hoping to make that cannabis taste just one step closer to heaven!

    Will do bud!

I was going to add fish emulsion for my outdoor soil, but I've been so busy this past month I never got a chance to drive to get the ingredients.

No biggie, I just wanted to see how well fish emulsion would perform for cannabis. I know it's amazing with tomatoes.

But being that fish emulsion smells, I'd rather not use that for my indoor grow but I do have a couple other substitutions that I will be sharing soon.

    I can attest to this!

Before I read the grow bibles and other grow books, Richard was here to not only show us how, but he has answered so many questions for many and I've followed him for at least four years, until this year finally joining the forum and starting my own grow

  8. I'm just so happy that you were able to find a place you could grow legally this year! It was a rough start to the season, but you made it again this year!

Next year would you please, please make sure you can show us those 100+ gallon per plant grows next season!!

The one on the far right is in my organic soil mix, the one on the left is in my base soil mix.

  10. Hey everyone, I feel moved to give my plants something to stimulate them a bit. They seem like they could use a boost. I was thinking about giving them some molasses. They've been flowering since the 5th of June. Not sure what's best since the girls are in an organic soil mix and I don't want to throw the nutrient balance off. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

  11. what was recommended to me was molasses and EWC.

Molasses will definitely do the trick! It makes your buds Swell and won't throw any of your nutrients off at all.

Tappin roots is also very good and so is bio weed! Told you all I had a couple surprises for my soil mixes well... Here were just a small few

    Tappin roots, bio weed/molasses

You guys already beat me to it! Asked the questions before I could even mention the products!! Lol

  13. Finished transplant of the organic soil seedling today, I will transplant the base soil plant tomorrow or Monday as "she" is still spreading roots from mid soil to bottom.

The organic soil seedling didn't surprise me at all for being ready to transplant. She's growing at a much better rate than the plant in base soil.

I also gave the other outdoor plants a nice foliar spray (didn't spray bubblegum as it is recommended not to foliar spray during flower)

    Sweet mango

    ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1406840657.854626.jpg

Sweet mango is on day two of transition outdoors. Will be moving Monday outdoors or Tuesday as I am going out of town and would prefer to be here to monitor her transition.

Northern lights will begin outdoor transfer tomorrow morning

I also just finished drawing out my new plan for the outdoor plants and some ideas for my next indoor grow. Things should be picking up here within the next week or so.

It's about to get pretty intense

Sweet mango just got moved outdoors this morning

My northern lights has slight light burn because I sprayed right before lights came on as I had to leave to go out of town and wanted to give her a foliar treatment.. She's doing great despite the slight light burn.

    ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1407269549.278074.jpg

So outdoors we are rocking it with extra special soil treatments once a week for the vegetative plants and about once every other two waterings for my flowering plants

Next, I just started my northern lights X Big Bud seed in germination

I plan to grow this one from start to finish indoors as I will begin to start my photo grow in a week and will be vegging her for at least 40 days hopefully 45-50 days should be enough and I'll take cuts and plan to grow those cuts in the second server case and have another area for my clones as well 😏

If all goes well with these next grows.. My fall and winter grow show will be a dream come true for me 😉

For now keep following this journal. I'll let everyone know when the next journal is ready to go!
