Accidentally Super Cropped today... Help

Discussion in 'Plant Training' started by StaffOfPower, Mar 16, 2014.

  1. Lady is about halfway through flowering, pot broke, plant fell, roots were moderately damaged (mainly feeders, not the tap) and one branch / node got bent but it did not break completely - like with super cropping.

With these two things considered, should the plant finish flowering without issue, or is it screwed beyond hope?

I mean the rest of the plant looks fine, no signs of stress or anything.  Just one branch kinda hanging....

What can be done to help keep it from herming?

PS not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I asked in one other one already, and I wasnt sure which forum would be appropriate either time.

  2. I've gotten pretty good at figuring out what MY plants are thinking, but yours are a bit too far away. Without pics, it's only a guess based on your description.  Plants get broken in nature all the time, even crushed.  Do they "finish"?

  3. I can provide some photos soon, I'm actually in the process of replacing my broken iphone screen as I'm typing this (had to take a break lol).

But as I said, I'm proficient in my knowledge in spotting stress, and everything on the plant except the one bent / "super cropped" branch looks happy and exactly as it did before the fall.

I'm guessing you're implying that it should be fine...? I mean, I know it will finish, one way or another.  I just wanna know if I should not have my heart set on it finishing 100% female.

  4. Duct Tape that branch asap. I've nearly snapped them in two and carefully applying a duct tape "bandage" works great. I'd be more worried about your roots. Even feeder damage really screws them up.
