    Hello Everyone!

I am a this is my first time growing and I have three plants about a month old that I grew from seeds. I keep them in my window seal that gets sunshine for most of the day. About a week ago I translated my middle size plant outside (I used organic soil and perlite) and left it outside for about 4 hours. Two days after transplanting I noticed faint yellow spots starting to appear. Thinking they were from mites I have been spraying it with a 1:1 ration of rubbing alcohol for a few days now 2-3 times a day, but now I'm not so sure its mites! I think it could possibly be a nutrient deficiency but Im not 100%

    Please help !!

  2. Did you do any kind of foliar feed or watering BEFORE the spots started appearing, if you have the water will bead on the surface of the leaf and act like a magnifying glass burning the leaf and any further spraying with the lights on / sun out will make the problem worse. If that isn't the cause what kind of water are you giving it, just tap water?

If it is tap water it needs to sit for 24 hours to allow chlorine to evaporate, if the plant is exposed to chlorine often it will start to look sort of light/pale green and chlorotic spots can appear on the leaves.

  3. I do give them tap water! I will just use filterd water from now on. Thanks so much for the reply! You were the only one who helped me :) !!
