  1. Hello Everyone!

I am a this is my first time growing and I have three plants about a month old that I grew from seeds. I keep them in my window seal that gets sunshine for most of the day. About a week ago I translated my middle size plant outside (I used organic soil and perlite) and left it outside for about 4 hours. Two days after transplanting I noticed faint yellow spots starting to appear. Thinking they were from mites I have been spraying it with a 1:1 ration of rubbing alcohol for a few days now 2-3 times a day, but now I'm not so sure its mites! I think it could possibly be a nutrient deficiency but Im not 100%

  2. It's unlikely that a plant that small would have a nutrient deficiency in soil unless you had totally flushed the soil clean of all nutrients, and especially since you have replanted it.

It's much more likely that when you moved it outside, things started to have a little nibble at the leaves.  It doesn't mean that you have a mite infestation, something may have flown in had a nibble and buggered off never to return, leaving a little calling card.

Alternatively it could be damage of handling, scorch marks from the sun where the leaves have had moisture on them in the middle of the day.

It's only small, don't do anything too extreme, but keep an eye on it and just let it grow and settle into its pot a bit more.
