Questions about PAX

Hello GrassCity community, I'm always on your website and always meant to create an account out of love for this site (your all so helpful!!), but regrettably this was out of frustration...
 
SO, I just purchased my first PAX off ebay for 150$ and it got here in 2 days! Needless to say i was ecstatic about receiving it so quickly and never would I have to worry about combustion entering my lungs. I read the quick start guide that came with the box and it seemed pretty straight forward. Pack it, click top, wait to heat up, vape. Now maybe i'm just mentally challenged, i don't know, but bare with me here
 
Is the little metal screen in the oven supposed to fall out? While taking my hit i kept getting little scooby snacks in my mouth which is very frustrating. I packed it fairly snug with it a little more then 1/2 full, and the bud was fairly fresh.
 
When you shake yours is there a small raddling in the middle? Is your mouth piece slightly loose?
 
When i exhale i should see vapor right? Because on the green/low setting i can taste my delicious leaf but i dont feel any vape enter. But when i use the red/high setting i get a small amount of vapor exhaled 
 
Does it cool off as you use it? On the green/low setting it switches back to purple constantly (even on orange), can i still hit it when its purple? Am i supposed to take small, long drags when i hit this?
 
I'v had the magic flight box before and that pissed me off because i felt like it gave just a stupid tiny hit, and mine stopped working after 3 months. I also bought the Atmos RAW after that just to find out that it does even vaporize!!! R U SRS????
 
I'm tempted to throw everything away and just get a volcano. But, knowing me though it wont work for some inexplicit reason also...that's also my fault somehow........

Thanks everyone, thanks to my own diligence i was able to able start a session lasting about 20-??? amount of hits.
