I usually build single coils, either 28g or twisted 28g. Probably avg about 4-6 second hits. Usually have coils built between .3 and .7. I just can't even imagine how I would remove the insulator though, the holes are so tiny. I'm assuming that's the little rubber thing that came with the replacement pack (with a screw, o rings, etc) that came with it.
I dont think they normally give an extra, although I dont have anything from UD, so idk. its the rubber piece that sits between the pin and the 510 threading. its there to prevent shorts.
This is what came with it. I'm going to try to replace it, pretty sure that's what this piece is. Thanks! Edit: Going to have to wait until summer. Don't have any way to pull the pin out. Shit.

My attempts at a usable stovetop coil 20ga nichrome, single coil. 0.18ohms. Ripping hard even at 100w in the little boy atty Pretty pleased with it. Flavor is incredible, vapor is ridiculous. And it I guzzles juice faster than dual coil setups I've had. .

I got that same setup. It works really well. Next time you go to change the coil, try rebuilding it. There are tons of videos on YouTube. Super easy and well worth it. The reason I stick with mechs is just because they're durable as fuck, ive dropped all of mine at least 10 times each and all that happens is small scuffs. I can get incredible vapor and flavor production in a tiny little thing. Like my kylin and plume veil, its tiny as fuck and I can just toss that bitch in my pocket and forget I even have it. I can't do that with a huge ass box mod. Also if something goes wrong you just take it apart and put it together again and it'll work. The kylin is stupid tiny, this will hold an 18650
Is that a new way of making coils? I'm still doing the old way... I want to get a mech, but I guess I'll keep my box to build coils.
Yeah just a different style. They're a bitch because you have to do them by hand and them to fit is tricky
