Transplanting clones to hydro

  1. I have been using a home made EZ cloner, and was wondering how to transplant in to hydroballs once they are rooting? I have searched and came up with putting them in to rockwool cubes so the roots can absorb the water easier. I also believe they should have clear Dixie cups over them so they can stay humid.

    What do you guys do?

  2. You want to lean them off of humidity in the last week of the cloner. You do this. By opening the vent 10 minutes every hour or as often as u can. And the next 20. If you can't do it that often do 20 minutes consecutive times then 30 minutes.......etc.

  3. Once they have roots you don't want them covered over. You don't need rockwool, that's the beauty of a cloner that needs no medium. You just almost submerge the net pot full of clay balls and dunk the rooted stem in there. Lift the net pot out of the water and your roots will be nicely bured in there. Keep the level of the water so the roots are under water or they can dry out
