  1. I love reading when im stoned, i get proper sucked in to whatever im reading and cant put the book down. Recently ive been watching netflix and playing xbox/pc too much and feel i need a good series of fiction books i can get stuck into.
Some of my favourite trilogies/series include the His Dark Materials series, the Mortal Engines series and the Abhorsen series, all of which i highly recommend. All of the above id describe as fictional action and adventure on an epic scale, with fascinating 'worlds' and characters, and very realistic. Mortal Engines is probably my favorite as it is on a larger scale and a bit more epic than the others and its kinda surreal learning about the world its set in and how it became that way. Saying that, the Abhorsen and His Dark Materials series' both have similar qualities and i think all of them have affected me..
Some other great books/series are Consider Plebas by Ian Banks, again very detailed and deep, the Artemis Fowl series, Lotr, the Halo books (yes the video game), and im sure theres more that ive forgotten or blanked from my memory cos the ending made me depressed.
So yeah if anyone can recommend me any similar books id appreciate it, if not you should read the ones i mentioned as you dont know what youve missed out on :)
Of course you can also just comment saying wow ive read those, which will make me happy as someone knows that feel bro. Now hurry and recommend me a book cos now im all stoned ans nostalgic

  2. The 'Discworld' series.
    Hurry! While you're still stoned!

  3. I always feel bad playing xbox or watching tv stoned all the time it just seems like a waste.

If you haven't read Game of thrones fire and ice series it's a really good read. I just finished reading a book that has nothing to do with what you said you like but it's called "one second after" about surviving in a small town after an EMP attack and it was actually really good. I'm proud to say I read the whole thing stoned too

  4. If you enjoyed His Dark Materials, probably the Dark Quintet saga by Madeleine L'Engle will be a good read for you. And, perhaps it wouldn't be of your liking, but how about The Hunger Games Trilogy?
