  1. Hello,

I was wondering if anyone out there has found a good method to keep strong mother plants over the winter for cuttings in the spring?    Can this be done with low power lighting?  A small CFL?

A friend of mine has been attempting this, but by the second year the plants have become 'bonsai' with very slow growth rates, producing small cuttings that do not grow.

Perhaps it is cheaper / easier / better to start new mother plants each spring from seed?

  2. I grew outside last year, built a cabinet grow box revegged my plant after harvesting. It died as I was too brutal with i but took a cutting which survived and it's been growing over winter, with 4 cfl bulbs. It's been LST'd and has grown great. Been chopping clones off this month they are in with the mother but as soon as it's April or a bit later I will put them outside and flower the mother in the box. And clone again for winter to repeat
