Cannabis Oil increased levels of THC CBD ?

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by Ser, Feb 25, 2014.

  1. Dear people,

Since a few months I have seen very good results with cannabis oil at people very close to me.
Everybody should know about the wonderful Medical plant.

At the moment the dokters have discovered some growing braintumors at my wife. She already had 3 surgery's the last 4 years, 1 tumor was about 3 cm big. She has about 10 more small tumors in the brain and many more in other organs, it is called von hippel lindau. Her sister is blind to one eye and fully blind within 2 weeks the dokters say, her sister also had these tumors in al lot of organs.
My wife is 33 years of age, her sister 32.

Anyway, 2 brain tumors at my wife are growing fast now, same symptoms  are happening again, vomiting every day ( 9 months now, she was pregnant so we blaim the pregnancy  ) headache, dizzyness etc. So we went for a MRI Scan. And yes these 2 tumors needs to be removed.

I ordered again Cannabis oil from www.mediwiet.nl 11.9% THC 3.9 % CBD so close to a 4:1 ratio which seems the best ratio. already mixed with 3 parts Olive Oil. She uses 3 drops per day, more will make here very tired.

I want to grow my own plants and I have read so many info about different seeds etc. But some info I can not find:

The THC and CBD levels for a plant as CBD CREW MANGO HAZE are 6% THC and 8% CBD, this is measured from a dried top ?
What if we make oil out of this, is it still 6 % and 8% ? Or will it be much more pure ?
If CBD and THC increase, then how much is it ?

Next step is to buy a strain with a very high sativa so my wife won't be so tired during the day and already has a 4:1 Ratio of THC/CBD, am I thinking right ?

Or should I go for a very high THC strain and mix oil it with a High CBD level to get 4:1 ?

    Any suggestions ?

    Thanks

  2. When you see % numbers from seed banks, don't trust them. Every plant will be different in some way so those numbers wont be exact. I would just look for a strain bred to be high jn CBD instead of trying to pick specific seeds

  3.
This is solid advice.  Essentially, you'll want to find something that is known for having higher levels of CBD as a strain constant.  Unfortunately, if you don't do well during your grow, the plant won't yield a quality crop -- that's the name of the game!

Read around on these forums, there's a lot of good advice.

  4.  Are you trying to use the cannabis to reduce the tumor growth or just to deal with the side effects of surgery, chemo, and radiation therapy?

  5. Yes I hope the tumors will stop growing.

I think the numbers from CBD crew is something we van trust if we have a good healthy plant.

Any idea what the percentage of THC and CBD will be when the Cannabis is formed to oil ? Will it stay the same as it was from the crop?

    Ser,

Based on the studies I've seen of treating cancer with cannabis oil, your oil is much too low potency to have any tumor reducing effect.

The case studies for curing cancer with cannabis oil (rick simpson oil) that I have read use much higher doses. To start, typically rick simpson oil is 50-75% THC+CBD. Additionally, to actually see a reduction in tumor size patients have to take very large doses- roughly 30-50x the dose you would take to just "feel it". This equates to about a gram or milliliter of the oil PER DAY.

Unfortunately, I don't believe giving your wife a couple drops of ~10% potency oil is going to have any tumor reduction effects.

    I would advise you either:

A- research Rick simpson oil, grow or acquire your own plants and make your own oil per the recipe for Rick Simpson Oil shared online. Get your wife on the regimen that has worked for other people with cancer- this means eating a gram of oil per day, and sleeping mostly.

B- Get your wife to do what the doctors recommend- surgery, chemo, radiation, and use smaller doses of oil, as you are now, to treat the symptoms and side effects of the treatment.

To answer your other question, THC and CBD ratios should remain *roughly* the same after extraction. Case studies have shown that the higher potency of the strain = the higher the potency of the oil = a more significant medicinal/tumor reducing effect.

Thank you, my oil now is 11,9% thc and 3.9%cbd. At least that is what me is told, is it possible to measure this?

My wife has no chemo, she doesn't have a lot trouble at the moment, only these 2 tumors are growing on the background. More than 3 drops per day is not possible for her. She is getting dizzy and tired. 2 drops within 2 hours resulted in vomiting and extremely tired, hard to walk etc.

About the extraction of oil, yes the Cbd thc ratio will probably stay about the same. But what about the percentage. If the Rick Simpson oil is about 60% and it is made from a 20% thc strain....the the extraction will make the oil 3 times more pure ?

  8. Does anyone know ?

  9. I read that cannabis oil can be about 60% to 80%.

Would that mean that a when a 20% THC strain is made to oil it will be somewhere about 60% THC ? Then what about the CBD ?

I have some CBD Crew Medihaze seeds and they would be about 8% CBD and 4% CBD.

If I make oil out of this, the THC will be about 12% and CBD about 24% ?

    Would this make sense ?

  10. Check out rsho. I hate them with a passion it's way over priced. And it's not as good if it was pure or made a better way. but it really does work I've used it for ibs and someone close to me uses it for a kidney diease, and it reallydoes work. But it is a money market scam, but get some to hold you over until you can get a better amount of it.

I've thought about this a lot and studied what I could, I'm sure you have done the same. I'm seeing ratio for 1:1 and 2:1 cbd to thc. But ratios mean nothing against milligram.

Only posted that pic so you can see where they tried 500mg of cbd and it was safe. But what they don't say of you have high amounts of both. Your going to feel extremely fucked up. You my not have anxiety about it though.

I was taken 250mg a Day of cbd cost to much that's why I stopped. My friend was about 300mg

If I was you, I serious would hit it so hard 400mg cbd 400-200mg thc. Maybe 500mg to 500mg for a month and see where that got me. I feel like that's your best shot at beating it.

Space it out, try taken it at night. Its gonna be rough, but it's nothing I havnt done just not for more than 3 days in a row. (Vacation)

    Stop thinking like that.

    4% thc and cbd 8% a gram = 40mg of thc and 80mg cbd.

In a ounce 1,140mg thc and 2,280 cbd 3,420mg total. 3.4grams jokingly a prefect extraction and with no plant material

P.s. I would be pissed!!! You need a lot more.

Get the heaviest ratio of cbd seeds you can find. (R4 maybe %16 to 1 hard to get tho)

And the highest thc seeds you can find.

They are right about the seed banks lie.

Extraction ratios will also change because when you convert thc-a to thc and cbd-a to cbd. The temperature and time at which that happens is different between the two.

If you want to get better at making it and forget the rso way look into( I think rso is out of date) . Skunk pharm research.

  13. Remember take big loads before you go to bed, To get your tolerance up. Good luck

Well I was thinking about it, sorry for blowing this up. But if she's not liking the high. But once you get your thc and cbd separate from each other. By using two different plants Or rsho. Give her 100mg of cbd and I wouldn't push 50mg of thc. Then build from that. You gotta get to atleast 300mg cbd 100mg thc. I believe to possibly really effect it. But I know I would be ripped at 500mg to 500mg to play it safe.just Throughout the day and night to lower it.

If you have low thc and high cbd she won't feel so out of it. But if your already really high from thc don't add to much cbd. Just a little to knock the edge off. Add a lot and you will feel clumsy, off blance, super ripped
