How long will the smell of weed linger in my room(no ventilation)?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by PurpLe_HaZe_, Feb 25, 2014.

  1. So, I'm going to start smoking in my room at night. I don't have a window but I have already built a sploof. I smoke out of a glass pipe by the way. Without opening windows(I have a home-alarm system), how long can I expect the smell to linger? I'm considering buying a can of Ozium.

  2. inb4 you get busted

  3. I've been smoking at night almost every day for the past half year or so. I started out using a sploof but it became too much of a hassle and I figured it isnt that useful. It makes your room smell like fabric softener, sure. But it's also gonna mix with the smell of the bud/smoke, even if you cover the bowl after you take the hit there's still going to be some smoke /bud smell that will mix with the fabric softener and your parents are gonna get curious why it smells like fabric softener. The ozium will definitely help. But if you have no ventilation I would estimate the smell's gonna be there for a good hour AT LEAST and up to a couple  hours at max with no ventilation and depending on how much you smoke. I smoke blowing everything out a hole in my window screen door and keep the window open and it takes about a good 40 mins with my windows wide open to get rid of MOST the smell.
Try to smoke a bowl or less so it doesn't get too stinky and put a towel under your door if you can and close your air vents. When you're done spray your ozium Then after about 20-30 mins you can open your door slightly unless it still stinks really bad. . Also eat something or chew a lot of gum or else your breath is gonna stink bad after smoking and will contribute more to stinking up your room.
I'll leave you with a final thing though, be extra careful though because even after I do my seshes at night I wake up about 7 hours later and shower, eat, brush my teeth and go to college, when I get to class sometimes a couple of my friends tell me that I smell a little bit and I know my clothes don't smell cause they're not even close to the weed smoke so i'm pretty sure it stays in your breath for a damn long time. I only smoke a snapper each night too so be extra careful with smelling in the morning.

  5. bro when i was 15 i did the exact same thing as you. at the time i had no window so i made a sploof. still reaks BALLS

  6. I have smoked countless times in my room when I was living with my dad. Only thing is that I lived in the basement, he lived upstairs. My basement was very well insulated and I also had a window. I would smoke a couple of bowls, chill, go to bed, wake up and no smell. Rarely used spray of any kind, once in a while I would make a sploof, but not every time. So idk what to tell you man. Ozium is made to eliminate smoke, but I can't see you having the same success without even having a window to open. I would just step outside for a minute if it were me in your shoes.
