Going for Surgery in CALI... Need weed for pain.

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by MissKaylaSTG, Feb 24, 2014.

  1. How do I get my hands on weed when I go down to Cali from Canada, for my pain management?

Just spoke to my nurse at my hospital and she said i can get it anywhere, but don't I need to be a California Resident?

I can get a referral from my doctor there, but don't know what else to do.
It is ALL i use for pain medication here, and I don't know how to get some while I'm there.

I'm staying in Santa Cruz from Mar 8-22.

    Help??

  2. read the rules...don't fuckup and ask for a hookup...

as to getting herb in California...ask around for some...you may pay a premium but it is all over.

  3. I don't think he wants a hook up, he wants info on getting a med card I think?

  5. 1. Look for a stoner
    2. "Hey I'm from canada and I need weed, can you hook me up"
    3. ???
    4. Profit

  6. Perfect.

for the record folks, i wasn't asking for a hook-up, just wondering what the hell i was suppose to do when this is my main source of medication for my incurable disease, so it would be really bad if it was hard to get my hands on.

  8. You won't have a problem finding bud in Cali, I'd say it's about as easy as it is in Canada.

  9. I'm pretty confident you don't need to be a resident to get an 'official' doctor's recommendation. However, many dispensaries (and some doctors) will not serve people from out-of-state. Assuming you can get the doctor's recommendation, try calling dispensaries in Santa Cruz to explain your situation and ask if they would serve you.

  10. I would contact some dispensaries and explain your situation ahead of time. You might find one willing to accommodate you
