OMG guys ohio medical is up for voteing

  1. I thought I read where they are allowing CBD tinctures and oil only, no dabs, hash, flowers, etc...

  2. The bill in question allows 12 mature plants and 200g of usable cannabis, this is flower weight, or the weight of a concentrate, resin, oil, tincture, etc. There is a specified list of qualifying conditions, but no catchall and no allowance for depression or PTSD at this time. Alzheimers is accepted if it has progressed to agitation, who wants to prevent that horrible disease? Not Ohio. I have not studied how that list is expanded.

I don't understand the low weight limit for such a reasonable plant limit. I did not see an exception for the weight or plant limits if your doctor agrees that you need more. I do see that there is a reciprocity agreement, so out of state med card holders will be covered. I would prefer something closer to California, but it is a shedload better than Georgia and most of the East Coast med bills.

That being said, and despite the overwhealming support for medical in Ohio, I doubt that this bill is going anywhere. I think that a shitty bigMJ-legalization with no personal grows will have a better chance of making it through the corrupt state legislature rather than anything that will actually help the sick and suffering. Well here is to hoping that medical moves forward in Ohio despite the legislature.

  3. I am a bit confused about the reciprocity bit, but from my reading, any non-resident with a med card is protected, including all of the more humane med states that don't try to dictate to the medical profession as to what diseases ought to be treated by Cannabis. Also it appears that any non-resident that held an oregon non-resident mmj license would be covered. So someone from Georgia with an Oregon license for PTSD could get a care giver or grow when in Ohio, but a native Ohioan with PTSD is SOL. Pretty screwed up if you ask me. How bout they just legalize it like tomatos and avoid all the hypocrisy and double standards.

  4. Do your homework and you will find that Ohio will not have MMJ anytime soon. House Bill 153 is dead and The Ohio Rights Group ballot drive is also dead. To many assclowns running the show!! Sorry Ohio, your stuck with nothing!!

  5. It's terrible. I'm from Ohio and I think everyone agrees we need it.

"Throughout the process, the Ohio Cannabis Rights Amendment ran into some issues, including a recasting of the petition after the intial version was rejected by Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine because he said that it did not represent a fair and truthful description of how the constitutional amendment would function."

    :(

  6. Anybody hear about the new BULLSHIT plan for legalization here in Ohio? 10 wealthy investors having a bill written that would give them and ONLY them the right to grow and distribute. Use and small possession would be legal but nor growing... Wtf!

  7. I went back to Ohio.
    But my dealer was gone!
There were no dispensaries on the street
    It was dead downtown

    A-o way to go Ohio........

  8. Welcome to the world of legalization.
    I will pass.

  9. I'm not thinking it will. There are 2 other possibilities for legalization in Ohio and both are better options than that one. Also all the smokers that will actually vote already know what's up.

  10. Check out legalaslettuce.com Responsible ohioans for cannabis IS NOT THE MONOPOLY GROUP! We need as much support as possible! We want ohio to be able to grow at home. Our proposal is without a doubt the best one out of all four groups. There is another group "R.O." or "responsible ohio" that stole my groups name to cause confusion. R.O. is the monopoly group that only wants 10 grow spots in ohio. Please check out RESPONSIBLE OHIOANS FOR CANNABIS "R.O.C." for a true end to prohibition.

  11. From what I gather Ohio is on the right track for medical lagalization. Am I reading bogus material? Where can I sign my name so I can help it be on the November ballot?

Will this ever happen for Ohio or should I just start planning to move to a legal state right now?

  12. Some guys were walking around my town in Ohio so I signed the petition and signed up to vote

  13. Well too bad. Fuckin asshole mother fucker. Mike DeWine just pushed Ohio's marijuana bill to 2016. Responsible Ohio collected all 300,000 signatures for the petition to get it on Nov 2015 election.

    What a fucking bitch.

  14. That's false^
Responsible Ohio still doesn't have 300,000 and they need 305,000.
They will probably get them and it will be up for vote in 2015 not 2016. This is why sgitty profit only groups like responsible Ohio stand a chance at taking the cannabis market from the people... Because dipshits don't actually take the time to find out what is actually happening.
As of may 4 responsible Ohio had 250,000. I moved out of Ohio 2 years ago and I thought of moving back just to fight this terrible legalization group.
Please research enough to actually know what is happening before you post it online and some other dipshits (like you) believe it
Responsible Ohio is the wrong choice for legalization. They are clearly the Monsanto/big tobacco of legalization movements.
