Need some advice on Grow tent AC Venting PLEASE

  1. I just started a dual grow in 2 4x4x6 tents, I have a 13000 BTU portable AC that is vented outside, I have made a box over the cold air vent to blow through the ducting into the tent, the hot tent air is then pumped out of the tent and outside.   My problem is I cannot get a stable temp in the tent( ranging from 65-85 )  I don't know if I should vent the hot air next to the AC to keep the AC pumping until it totally cools my tent or continue to pump tent exaust outside.  OH im also using very low temp lighting.  T5 and 400 Watt Agromax induction lights. I feel like this is a no brainer but for some reason I cannot nail it down.

So this is a diagram of what I have right now.  My big question is should I vent the tent into the room so the AC doesn't shut off or should I continue to vent out the ceiling.   I have seen some set ups where they vent the tent right next to the intake of the AC....need some expert opinions AC SET UP.png

  2. You can change the temperature on your a/c unit to try and match the temp you looking for inside the room.

because your room is hotter than outside where the a/c is at you might need to have the a/c set at a lower temp to run more offten to get the temp your looking for.

  3. I also don't really see a problem with 65-85. that's growable. if you can get it down to 65-80 you'll be perfect.

  4. Would it be possible for you to get some sort of remote thermostat that you can plug the AC into then put the temp control gauge in your tent, so that the AC turns on and off when it needs to? They HAVE to make something like this....?

  5.
That's exactly it.  The AC unit is controlling the temp of the room not in the tent itself.

What temps are you running without the AC?  I had a grow in an AC controlled room that was suffering till i turned the AC off.  Temps were slightly higher than 85 in the day but the plant didnt seem to mind
