  2. Nobody knows? I wonder the same thing.

  3. For: "The illegality does more harm than good"

    Against: "Think about the children!"

    yeah that's about it.

  4. For:: more revenue for the government,
    less dangerous than alcohol
can cure a lot of disease

    Against::
    reefer madness movie
    dangourus
    gateway drug

  5. When you are using science and evidence, they don't have a legit argument.

  6. Most of the "legalization" you are seeing now is legislation that only serves to cut out marketplace competition and drive it into the awaiting hands of corporations. Raw cannabis is not the goal. It can be sold at much higher profits if synthesized into something pharma serves up under the guise of "increased study and safety." More treatment instead of jail. (Just another, different form of control that is cheaper and more profitable.)

Politically, the "split" in voters is about 50-50, so it is serving them well in a two party landscape like other swing issues. Ultimately, when you look at the political donors for both sides of the aisle, the same PACs and other special interests control both sides, so most "choice" at the polls is a mirage. And...with NO actual change to ANY laws at the Fed level, it's all political whim as to where they want to take it all. Next party can reverse course any time they please and toss out the Barry/Holder "memos."

So all this "change" that people cite? I don't exactly see it. But I seem to be in the minority, unfortunately.

  7. When like 30 out of 52 states legalize the Feds will have to change something wouldn't they? From the articles I've read it seems like the majority of states will legalize within the next few years.

  8. The Feds (may as well call them big money special interest police) are calling the shots in these bullshit "legalization" and medical bills being introduced. So when 30 of 50 states have "legalized," that just means legislation will have been introduced in those states to curb any marketplace competition. Eventually it will all be "legal" but not until all the patents for the various pharma drugs are worked out and those profits secured for them and only them.

Again, pot is THE super drug of the future in synthesized pill or spray or other pharma forms. Raw cannbis is valuable. Marketed "miracle cures" for cannabis-derived pharma drugs are the ultimate profit windfall. Much higher profit potentials to cure disease than get people stoned. It still has to be completely ripped away from the people, and these "compassionate" bills seem to make it look like government listens and that they are not the thugs they are. It's all just a progressive plan to slowly make any legal marketplaces for raw cannabis into total failures as they have planned to do all along, and then they take it all away and say, "well, we tried. And you peons just couldn't handle it, could ya?"

Basically, we're eyeballs deep in corporate fascism.

  9. For -  free thinkers thinking creatively and peacefully while helping others do the same

against- control freaks controlling others while not wanting creativity and feeling powerful holding other people back so that their stance looks better.

For- people who are sick and turn to dirt and nature for healing

against- an concrete establishment that sees sick people as dollar signs and financial freedom ( people will always have issues) and would rather have people hooked on meds for life instead of getting well ( healed) and never coming back to the doctors office.

  10. For: Virtually every logical mind.

Against: Big pharma, tobacco, alcohol, and the paid for puppets they have working for them in the US government.
