Tongue Piercing

  1. I want to get my tongue pierced, but I heard that you may lose one of your tastes if you do. Is this true? Because I freaking love food, and I dunno if I wanna lose some of that.

I belive it is one of the risks, yes. I don't know the number but I imagine it would be a very small percentage.

I've got mine pierced and there was no difference in taste or sensation at all once the swelling had gone down and returned to normal size/

  3. I've had mine pierced for almost 10 years and have had no issues.

  4. Sounds like either a myth to scare kids from wanting one, or a very rare sideffect, of it being done improperly.

Either way, chances are, nothing will change, except more compliments on your oral sex skills

  5. Tongue piercing had become quite common now days but you should take an personal advice while piercing.

  8. I was talking to a friend about it, and she said that they're really gross and that it wouldn't feel good at all if she kissed someone with a tongue piercing. I tried convincing her that they were designed for pleasure, but she doesn't believe me.
It was designed for pleasure though, wasn't it? :p

  9. I actually had my tongue pierced twice. My taste was not affected at all. I loved it and so did my bf ;)
Unfortunately the dentist scared me by saying my piercing would eventually break my teeth, so I took them out :(
But lately I've been thinking about repiercing them...

I dated a guy who had his tongue pierced, it helps....but if you don't know what you're doing in the first place then it won't help THAT much. Kwim?
