2 of my Marijuana Recipes. Shrimp Fettuccine and Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by MissBaracuta, Feb 11, 2014.

  1. Shrimp Fettuccine

    Ingredients:

1 1/2 lbs of pealed shrimp

( If like me I take my casting net down to the sound and catch my own fresh shrimp but for others who have never had the privilege to catch their own seafood then just go to your local grocery store and buy some shrimp)

24 oz of dry fettuccini pasta
    1 cup of cannabis butter
3/4 a cup of heavy cream
    1 dash of garlic salt
3/4 cup of grated Romano cheese
1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
    3 green onions chopped
    3 garlic cloves minced
3 teaspoon of olive oil or if you want cannabis oil.
    salt and pepper to taste

    Directions:

    1)  Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.  Add fettuccini and cook for 8 to 10 min or un tell done and drain.

    While fettuccini is cooking.

    2)  In a large saucepan, melt the cannabis butter into the cream over low heat.  Add salt, pepper and garlic salt.  Stir in cheese's over medium heat until melted, this will thicken the sauce.

    3)  Combine shrimp, onions, and garlic in a small bowl. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil; swirl to coat. Add shrimp mixture, and sauté for 4 minutes or until shrimp are done. Remove from pan.

    4)  Add pasta to sauce.  Use enough of the pasta so that all of the sauce is used and the pasta is thoroughly coated.

    5)  Add the shrimp mixture to the pasta and sauce and either mix thoroughly or just place it on top of the pasta and sauce, serve immediately and ENJOY!!!

You can even add crab to this recipe instead of shrimp just substitute cooked crab meat for the shrimp, onions and garlic.  Or Even add crab meat to it with the shrimp, onions and garlic, just don't cook it with the shrimp mixture add it after you are done cooking the shrimp mixture.

If using crab instead of shrimp I normally catch around 2 dozen of them and pick the meat out but you can buy lump crab meat or use snow crab meat. Use a pound to pound and half of crab meat.  Just depends on your taste on how much you want to use.  IF mixing it with the shrimp cut the shrimp back to 1lb and go with around a 1/2 lb of crab meat.

Makes around 6 servings depending on what you call a serving.

    Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi

    Ingredients

8 oz of linguine or other pasta
1/4 cup of cannabis olive oil
    1/4 cup of cannabis butter
1lb of shrimp peeled  (Either go and catch your own fresh shrimp like I do or buy from grocery store)
1 package of McCormick Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi Seasoning Mix
    1 tablespoon of lemon juice

    Directions:

    1)  Cook pasta as directed on package.  Drain well

    2)  As pasta is cooking, heat cannabis oil and cannabis butter in large skillet on low to medium heat until butter is melted  Add shrimp and seasoning mix:  Cook and stir for 3 to 4 minutes or just until shrimp turns pink.  Stir in lemon juice.

    3)  Toss with cooked pasta to coat well.  Serve with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.

Makes around 6 servings depending on what you call serving size.

  3. Shrimp linguine and shrimp scampi are some of my favorites. These recipes sound awesome! I have some spare canna butter that's been waiting for a recipe like this. I'm going to attempt it sometime soon, when I do I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks!

  4. Glad you like them.  I love them!!!  But I love any type of seafood and when I can catch all I want for free you cant beat that.  Disadvantage though is I cant go out to eat and order seafood anymore because of how it taste.  Its not fresh and I have spoiled myself on the freshness.  lol

  5. I can only imagine how much better and more satisfying it is going out and catching it yourself. I think that's awesome, I wish it was that easy for me. Do you have any pictures of your recipes? I'd love to see some.

  6. Waiting for someone to post results
