  3. I've had both Android is better.

Iphone was free when I upgraded though.

You can drag and drop your music on an android. Which basically won the battle for me. I gotta go through Itunes everytime? Fuck that.

And you can't download cool apps like. On my droid I had an app that let me rip youtube videos to mp3 files right there on my phone. Can't do that with IPhone. Also there was this app that let me listen to youtube videos with my screen turned off on my droid...that shit was cool too. Can't find that app on my iphone.

    Fuck Iphone.

  4. Iphones are dumbed down you can't even take the battery out of them. S4 is way better, just learn how to root your phone.  :smoking:

  5. I don't believe the iphone bandewagon is so black and white; by that I mean factors like commercialism, the common belief that iphones are much safer, the social bandwagon. Simple interface, touch responsiveness.

Iphones are brilliant devices but I don't believe the price reflects it. Its to much for what little accessability, customization, and freedom you get. Not EVERYONE takes the time to or knows how to jailbreak.

    My question still remains.
    why is it better?

  6. My reasoning for droid- I like having a huge ass screen.

  7. Because I'm a simpleton and ios is simple.

  8. I mean if that's really why

  9. i have an iphone right now and have androids in the past...  in the end it's just a phone.  they all do the same shit.  an iphone may be a bit easier to learn how to use...  but i androids are easy to learn how to use as well.

  10. Sleek and shine and android is buggy IMO but it comes with more benefits

    Sometimes it sucks to suck

    I don't have one but:

    • Social bandwagon
    • Build quality/materials
    • Easy for middle-aged, elderly, and handicapped people to use. It's like those phones they came out for kids a while back that only had like 4 buttons.
    • You can't change or customize anything on it unless you jailbreak, so it gives people a feeling of unity and conformity, everyone experiencing the same exact phone. (see: social bandwagon)
    • The majority of people only want to use a phone for social media, texting, and some internet.

  12. Excellent points; it actually makes so much more sense to to me now.

  13. I have an android, rest of the family got iPhones given to them by their employers. Wish I had an iPhone haha androids lag ALOT and the menu and keyboard feel really cluttered, too much shit everywhere all the time lol apple put a lot more thought in to their user interface

  14. Your gunna have to be more specific, you could have any one of a dozen androids that vary in build, power, processing speed, etc.; an iphone is simpily an iphone, theres one iphone 5, theres a bunch of android phones.

Hearing that your your android is laggin everywhere leds me to believe you have a cheap or old android phone.

If your menu is cluttered thats not your phones fault, any android phone can be managed from the home screen pretty easily, im honestly not sure how the app layout is that much different from ios 7 besides widgets. Folders are too be used for a reason.

If you dont like managing all that power and freedom and want your smartphone to just do the basics then the iphone is definitely for you

  15. Managing power and freedom...yep I'll stick to the herd mentality and get an iPhone :-D
Haha I have an Xperia j, cheap smartphone. I miss my blokia :-(

  16. If you want a small computer get an android

If you want the closest thing to a flip-phone from 5 years ago without getting laughed at, get an iPhone

  17. from using both not owning personally but just friends id say android. iphones are mad expensive when you could get a decent droid for less and it still does everything the iphone does.

  18. Always have used iPhones, works well for what I use it for , music, internet etc. It's just what I'm used to it's also handy when you know the useful applications you need. I'm sure both have their ups and downs.
