  1. So I'm seriously considering getting an apprenticeship so I can open my own shop eventually. Ive been drawing my whole life. 2. Good job done by you, but would likes to see some of the pictures.

  3. I'm a shit artist, but I'm close with 2 of my tattooers, some folk have the natural ability to pick it up quick. Others not so lucky. It's all about practice. Go get pigs skin and practice. Give your buddies some small free ones so you can practice on live people.

  4. Don't let those haters get you down. For real.

  5. focus on high realism.

get into psychedelic art and make friends/canvases in that scene.

make sure all your own (visible) ink is great.

    Nice artwork..

I did an apprenticeship in 1993 and worked off and on till 2001. made some good money and had fun.

To land the apprenticeship I had to present a 50 page portfolio of original artwork in ink.

Keep on it, you can do it.
