A: Based on the average max height, we skip those over 61cm/24in Additionally some strains researched did not indicate a height or height range. What they indicate is height = medium, which is of no use to us and therefore are omitted. Q: Can you add a missing or new plant to the list? A: For new and missing strains that fit within the parameters of this post, please PM me with the name and a link to the details of the strain. The height must be present in the linked page. Q: Is this list the end-all be-all of short strains? A: Hardly. This list is meant to be fair starting point for those interested in small height plants. Q: WHy did you make this list? Cool list! I did an Freedom 35 (Indica) try on my first grow, but screwed it up by the numbers. They were in the 24" ballpark. The next grow will be done properly. If they're actually short, I'll let you know.
Thank you, midnightMix! Your compilation is extremely useful. Just one friendly suggestion . . . perhaps give the breeder's name, too. Some strain names are used by multiple breeders.
Am added note on that Freedom 35. After going through a 10-pack of Fem beans, I saw at least 4 distinct phenotypes. One of them autos after 30 days. The rest mind the photoperiod. Still. not much better than a 24-30 inches indoors. Dunno about outside. This is the Freedom 35 auto phenotype: <em>Some of its variations: The two in front are 35's:
