Lazaidus 2X4 SuperRoom Grows

Discussion in 'Hydroponic Growing' started by lazaidus, Dec 23, 2013.

  1. Well here I am again. Missed out on the second grow and no posting but I decided to culminate my future grows into this thread and my adventures. I am growing in a 2x4 SuperRoom from supercloset (600w) and will be moving towards my own built 5x5 superroom (1000w).

  2. My first strain is gonna be autoflowering. Advanced Seed BioDiesel Mass. Im germing 4 of them in my homemade germinator (seedling tray w Dome and heating pad underneath). 1387768829350.jpg 1387768844439.jpg Sent from my C525c using Grasscity Forum mobile app

  6. Yo Laz..I'm subbed...I'm waiting for my seeds to arrive to get started on my winter indoor grow..meanwhile I got 5 plnts to harvest between nu yr's and 2nd wk of jan...one seedling of GG Allin at 17 days (strongest weed I've ever grown but with a 98% germination fail rate) so I'm good for the coming yr if customs doesn't get my seeds..

  7. Thanks Doc. You kinda making me want to try the GG Allin though.......its really that strong? Have you tried using a regular heating pad under whatever you start them off in? I do it and have a good germ rate so far.........I dont envy you all the trimming either lol

  8. Ya I did everything Laz..first pk of 10 only 2 popped only one was female..a 10 though on strength of high..very twitchy on nutes and not easy to grow..breeder sent me another 10pk gratis after I complained..i waited almost a yr and just germed them and got just this one..in the yr I got other seeds used my technique and they germed with no problem..it's the seeds not my technique imo..

Quality control you think? Why not make your own seeds? Sent from my C525c using Grasscity Forum mobile app

  10. I don't have the space to do seed development safely nor the inclination..it's easier to get seeds and make clones in my situation

Youre right. What are the stats on the plant though? size, yield per plant, nutes?Sent from my C525c using Grasscity Forum mobile app

  12. I can't rember the exact specifics (it's in my thread) but it was short under 2', couldn't be scrogged had to be LST'd..Yielded 36 grms of devastating bud..nutes were all twitchy if I remember right..female was weak sister

  13. Might have to try it out. 36 grams a plant under a 400w isnt bad Doc. send me a Link to get some beans. Hopefully they arent a arm and a leg lol.Sent from my C525c using Grasscity Forum mobile app

  14. Update: one of the four beans was a dud so i planted another in its place and its a day behind. Cotyledons have come out of shell and poked their heads out on the remaining three. Temps are cold so i packed the rockwool cubes into the Net cups and placed them in the germination tray and put the lid on them under the light on 300w with the fan off on light so i could keep a warm temp. Gonna keep checking for the next 30 minutes to make sure temp is where im at. I put a small ammount of water in the bottom of the tray so the humidity level remains high but Besides that they are good. Still debating what nutes im gonna use bit i will probably go with advanced nutes mother earth grow and bloom with some additives. Sent from my C525c using Grasscity Forum mobile app

  17. Update:Sooooooo the seedlings got pissed at me for some odd reason seek to be acting like some skanks. One of them is doing well, one looks to be gonna recoup, the other two started growing their first set of true leaves and stopped. I put them in the reservoir and gave them nutes to attempt to bring them back. Its been about a day, the stems aren't wilting or anything so that's a good sign for now I'm just gonna see what they do over the next few days. I went ahead and germed the last of the six seeds so at the worst ill have five plants to go through till harvest in 70 or so days. Sent from my C525c using Grasscity Forum mobile app

  18. They just look so damn funny. The cotyledons are somewhat shriveling and are hard to the touch I squeezed one of the leaves and it cracked........we shall see what happens in the next few days. Hopefully the stragglers survive and I have all five to move on. Sent from my C525c using Grasscity Forum mobile app

    Update: Day 4

Good news. The seedlings have pulled through. The transition to the reservoir and tent was a success. Three of four are showing their leaves and are progressing as they should. The fourth hasnt showed its true leaves at all but i see roots forming so i know it is still growing. I have a fifth germing just in case and it will be placed in the res in a few days. The fifth has shed its shell and shown its cotyledons so its progressing well. I dont have pics yet because my phone is charging but i will have them soon. Also had to get some reference solution for my ph pen and calibrate it. Ph stands at 5.5 and ppm is at around 350....I have to get a new tds meter i think my el cheapo has bitten the dust cuz its giving me some crazy readings lol. Pics soon!!
