How to make oil using kief?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by Angus.P420, Dec 18, 2013.

  1. I've been collecting my kief for a couple weeks now and have around 6g. Wondering how I can make oil out of it in the easiest manner, has anyone made oil from kief before? How did u do it and what % did it yield.

You can use pretty much any solvent you would use to make any other type of oil.
You're trying to pull out the psychoactive chemicals in the bud, and eliminate as much plant matter as possible.
Kief is easier to make with oil, and usually ends up with a more pure product, because of how much less plant matter there is compared to flowers.
    Isopropyl.
    Butane.
    Acetone.
    Hexane.
    Liquid Nitrogen.
    Carbon Dioxide.

Just a few solvents you could use to name off some.
I usually find myself yielding between %15-%20 when making oil.  :hello:
