  2. your thinking is backwards.

Ed didn't say he supports Israeli spying. He said he would spy if he were them..its different.

He's saying its no surprise that Israel would want to spy on a meeting between their enemy and the greatest liar of modern times.

How do we know Netanyahu isn't lying either in order to maintain Israeli dominance in the ME?

Also, let's not forget United States is only one member of the P5+1, Russia, China, France, United Kingdom and Germany are the others.

    It's complicated.

  4. Why would there be negotiations to end Iran's quest for nuclear weapons if it didn't have one?

  5.
Well the negotiations are to take Iran off the path to a nuke. I don't think anyones claiming they have a fully operational nuke yet.

It's complicated by the fact that Iran hasn't explicitly said it's looking to build one. As far as I know they're still insisting that it's for civil power reasons.

  6. You're right, I meant they have a quest for a nuke, not an actual weapon.

  7. Iran has been subject to sanctions since the revolution in 1979 which overthrew the US puppet dictator. There were further sanctions put in place by a UN resolution in 2006 due to Iran's nuclear power program - uranium enrichment.

Can you show any proof that Iran has a nuclear weapon or has tried to develop nuclear weapons ?

  8. I know perfectly well where Ed is coming from.

  9.
    +1.

I have not kept up in the past 4-5 years, but I know back then that they did not, and could not (technically) make weapons-grade uranium. It is not some simple thing that can be done anywhere, and it takes special equipment and materials that you cannot buy just anywhere. And it takes a high level of knowledge too, not to mention trying to hide all of it.

There is far more to be feared from our own government than that of any foreign government.

  12. Those sanctions were placed on Iran because they refused to adhere to NPT guidelines, not to mention they kidnapped hundreds of American embassy staff after their Islamic revolution in 79.

It says so in your own link.

The sanctions have led to huge suffering for the Iranian people and need to be lifted. That would mean nothing to you though as you only care about Israel and the bigoted zionist movement.
\nDo you believe that Israel which claims to be a civilized beacon of democracy in the Middle East should now come in from the shadows and declare their own nuclear and chemical weapon arsenal ?

  15. If sanctions have led to the suffering of the Iranian people, then why hasn't their government agreed to have them removed in exchange for full transparency on their nuclear program?

Whether or not one declares possession of nukes has no bearing over whether they are civilised or not.
