  2. Personally, I'd use the bottom for veg and top for flower. While your saving for your a second set of shit just use one part of the box for now. You can run a  fan blowing air onto light and exhaust through side of cabinet. or open ended cool tube+ fan (pulling) exhaust through side. Many ideas to work with though. Good luck.

    - Saw a hole on one side at the top for the exhaust
    - Saw 2 holes (or one large hole 1.5-2 times as large as the intake) on the other side near the bottom as the passive air intake.
    - Use ducting for the intake that is not reflective on the inside, or build a small box on the in or outside of the intake hole. Goal is to block light from entering, Add a sock or similar filtering on the intake to prevent dust etc from getting sucked onto your sticky buds.
    - I'd add some pond liner at the bottom with an edge of a couple of inches (hydro grower so I splash a lot :))
    - Cover the inside of the closet with some reflective foil (mylar blankets for example), paint the ceiling white with some latex.
    - Add an edge or some strips (like magnetic strips of a fridge door for example) on the edge of the inside of the door (to prevent light leaks), if necessary.
    - Drill some holes for the light and fan cabling.

Since you mentioned "super stealthy", you could create the intake and exhaust holes on the back and use ducting on the inside to ensure the intake is at the opposite side and the exhuast near the top. Or buy some old box you can place on top of the closet and remove the bottom of the box, and create the holes in the ceiling.

  4. I'll toss my 2 cents in ..Most duct fans are not speed controllable.  The biggest battle I had with bright lights in small spaces was heat.. I spent way more time and money upgrading the exhaust fan then anything else..

http://www.htgsupply.com/Product-Blower---Fan-Speed-Control if you read the specs for the controller and the duct fans you'll see they don't work together..

1 CFM of exhaust per watt of light is my recommendation for most cab grows.. It may sound like overkill but when your flowering and the humidity and heat are up you don't need to be replacing and enlarging exhaust mid grow.. You can always throttle down a slightly oversize exhaust.. The reverse is slightly less true..

Basic stuff like placing the ballast outside the box will help..

  5. @Lashu: Also Google for "G-kit Bonanza" for inspiration from a good example of stealth grow cabinet.

  6. Probably going to be a really loud cab once the venting for a 600w bulb goes in there.  To keep my box really stealthy, I had to go with a mixed air fan pushing only 100 CFM and LED for minimum heat.  It still makes a little noise but it sounds more like an AC vent.

  7. What ever came of this? I built one similar and am fine tuning how to keep my temps under control. I have a 400 watt MH 2 fans and a 4" inline with carbon filter. I had planned on 2 plants, but ended up with one female. Check out my journal for that story. But I hope that I can fit 3 in there the next go around with the right pots. But here's what I ended up with. ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1401161440.200464.jpg
