I want to buy weed- but I dont know anything :( help

    Okay, let me clarify a few things by saying that I have indeed smoked weed before in my life and that was well over a year ago. I smoked for the first time last December with two of my close friends and one happened to be the niece of a pot dealer and thus he let her use some of his product since they lived in the same house (or she stole it, but whatever) and she taught me a few basic things. The first time she showed me weed she explained to me how it should look (I think if it looks super crusty then it's a no-go) and then we proceeded to begin in my basement. She explained to me how to smoke a bowl and I was such a noob that I didn't know what to do and she explained how to hold it, where to put your finger over the bowl and when to release and stuff. She let me get really good hits each time and she smiled when I blew smoke finally.
     
    Anyways, I moved away for college and I won't be back in my hometown until Spring...I'm spending my winter break in my dorm due to family drama. For some reason after almost a year I've suddenly been getting an itch to feel the high again- and the taste (oh my godddd) but instead of trying to buy weed and get ripped off I want to at least know the ropes of things. I'm not afraid that I'm going to get shot or robbed- just ripped off.. I'm a 5'5, 105 lb black girl (I don't know if this really matters) I kinda decided that the likelihood of me getting beat up is pretty slim. I need to know what everything is; how much is a gram or ounce or whatever, how much it should cost in California (I live in Fresno), and where to look for it.
     
    By the way, I lost my phone last month and asked this random Hispanic guy if I could use his phone (this was in CVS) and he said sure and let me use his throw away phone and not the nice Iphone 5 in his hand and when I finished he asked if I wanted to score some and I looked at him confused and him and his buddy laughed and told me to take it easy.

    You shouldn't worry about getting beaten up haha. I'm a black chick as well. Most dealers are cool people and are usually nice to girls. You just have to find the right guy. Now, I have 2 guy dealers 1 is a friend of a friend and the second is luckily my cousin. You aren't in your hometown so it's going to be harder for you to find someone that you actually know. That is my only credential is that I actually know the person in some way (ex. the friend that hooked me up with his friend) simply because friends don't normally try to shit other friends cuz it = bad business and family is always reliable and there is less danger involved. I never had that situation before, but idk.... maybe you can try to contact some school friends of yours through social media since you don't have a phone and message them about it. Or if you have college friends on Skype, you can do that too,
     
    Measurement wise, I usually don't buy a lot at a time. the maximum that I have bought has been 6 grams. I don't have a scale but I eye ball what I buy. A picture would suffice to show you, so here's a gram of weed I got from the web.It depends on the density and all but you are looking for around this much per gram. Cost wise? I am not sure about your area, but where I live, 1 gram of regular weed (lower quality) is usually $10 each and higher qualities such as dank/loud is $20 per gram. Now, when you find someone that's a dealer, ask them if they are good (good as in having their weed in stock), tell them what you want and how much.

    rofl wtf you live here in fresno and you cant find weed? cmon girl, stand outside fashion fair or at the manchester transit center, or just walk around tower district and ask.
    dont let anyone charge you more than 10 for a gram. thats the norm, anyone tries to charge you more theyre ripping you off.

    must be different for females, just straight up asking is a good way to find people with weed.
    i smoke cigarettes too so when people ask for one, they usually follow with 'ay..you smoke weed?'

    Yeah, as a girl I generally don't like standing outside places- especially Manchester because I get mistaken as a hooker or I get on too much and it's creepy. 10 for a gram then? I don't think I'll be asking for that much at first though haha

    If your hot youll be fine. A Hot female buying weed isnt likely to get ripped off. Infact youll probably get hooked up because the dealer will want you togo come back again and again until your naked.Im not sure on cali prices but some phrases ypu might hear are:Dime bag = $10 bag is ~0.7 grams (couple bowls or 1 joint worth)8th is 3.5 grams. A newbie probably wouldnt need to buy anymore than an 8th their first time. Bout $50 in ohio"Fire" "dank" "dro" "chronic" "kill" "nuggets" = good weed (but every dealer thinks they got fire.)"Shwag" "schwap" "regs" "reggies" "middies" = lower quality weed.When looking at weed. Brown is bad.You wanna see crystals and red hairs and green buds.And if you can smell it before the bag is even open thats a good indicator some dank weed.

    yeah plus the cops post up at manchester sometimes but serious, if you're there at the right time you'll find some guys smokin blunts on the benches next to where bus 28 picks up. theres also that pipe/smoke shop right across from fresno state on cedar & shaw, i dunno that if you asked inside they'd be able to hook you up, but its worth a shot.

    And when asking a new dude dont be all paranoid and act weird. Just say "hey man can i get some buds off you" or "you know where i can get some bud?" Ive noticed new dealers dont wanna incriminate themselves as the dealer the first time but will still hook u up, and just act like he got it somewhere else.

    Hahaha, I feel like I will be THAT person who's like, "So...weed...you smoke? Yeah? Cool." Or something among those lines (maybe...) Like I said, I go to a Christian College so all those kids aren't doing shit or else they'er hiding it so good cause they don't even let you have a guest in your dorm that's the opposite sex unless you leave the door open. I need to explore.

    No offense but that's why I wouldn't go to a Christian college. I'm grown now and don't need anyone telling me what to do and they are usually a lot more expensive just to get the same education you would anywhere else.

    Haha, she literally was nodding her head and smiling when I finally blew a good amount of smoke. The first time I was high I literally thought I could taste the rainbows floating above me ( it was just light reflecting off glass). Hahahaha
