Found some stuff while helping a fellow UK grower..... thought it might interest you.... He had just purchased "Canna Boost," a Triacontanol-based supplement.... I was explaining that Alfalfa is a tremendous natural Triacontanol (Tcn) source... Here is a report out of Virginia Tech on the growth stimulating effects of Tcn (http://scholar.lib.vt.edu/ejournals/JARS/v36n3/v36n3-hinerman.htm). Note the part about a 100% increase in the number of flower buds..... Food for thought..... I'll copy and paste what I posted for him In the UK, Alfalfa is called Lucerne. BSP lol.... it's considered "bird feed" lol However...... I found a post from about a year ago where Chunk mentioned this product.... and.... I highly recommend you try to get your hands on this product. They look lovely mate, that stuff looks good too, like i said would come here and make my own plan from the start if i was going to do it again, when my guy mixed the soil or whatever it is ive grown these in, he mixed some stuff into it and said i wouldn't really need to feed them again. 100% doing it again, just maybe not straight away. Mrs is sick of it being up tbh, been 2 tents up since 1st dec, purely down to small fuckups putting the harvest date back.
