Hi all, I've moved this post here having seen the grow journal section, trust my first stoned post to be in the wrong place! Anyway...
\nWanted to start a log here, mainly so I can share my indoor exploits with a friend from Ozztraylia. Any input or comments/tips from yourselves would be fantastic however, as I am progressively obsessed with the indoor garden and it's fun to share!
\nSo as the title says in all it's succinct glory -
    \nI have a 400w hps, in a tent 80x80x160cm
Passive intake and a 4" outtake with carbon filter/silencer (my room still sounds like a warehouse)
    Lighting is on 18/6
\nI started the Royal Moby and Special Queen#1 on the 06/09 and both popped above the soil on 10/09
Been heavily LSTing both plants, repotted twice they're now in 17l smart pots (fabric pots)
\nThe Anesthesia and Akorn were planted on 28/10 and both popped on 01/11 so they'll be a month old tomorrow. Anesthesia is well into flower now - will apparently take 70 days in total - we'll see...
\nPlants are being fed with Tomorite and molasses with apple cider vinegar to (very vaguely) sort my high PH tap water and currently they're getting some epsom salts as well due to a little magnesium deficiency.
\nI'll be switching the light to 12/12 next Tuesday 03/12 exactly 12 weeks since the first two plants have been above soil. I'm hoping for at least 4 oz per plant on the big girls - does this look feasible with my 400w setup?
\nWill have some prettier pictures up soon, with a better camera than my laptop one and I'll try to update at least once a week, hopefully you'll follow me to a bountiful harvest sometime in January.
    \nCheers,
    \nTHC X x x

Apparently so! I'm on a mega tight budget though and the dual spec hps seemed like it would perform the best throughout the whole grow cycle, cheers for the input though.

  4. plants look awesome, cant wait to see the results

  5. Thanks man, they do look purrrty :D

  6. add some cfls atlease should help a little with the light spec.

  7. G'day g'day! This is my new username......I trust you 'geddit' ;)

The ladies are looking gorgeous, loving your work.

    Keep tending

    One love x

Hello hello! 05-12-13, 12/12 has been in effect for a day. What was cool was I noticed just hours after changing the light that pre-flowers were showing on all the non auto plants! Perfect, perfect (highly fortunate) timing.

Well, there they are, in wonderfully shocking quality once more, must commandeer a decent camera very soon! You can see where I've removed about a 1/3 of the growth from the bottom, and thinned out somewhat, both the Moby and the Queen, to aid the airflow and hopefully focus the plant's energy up where I want it to be. Both big 'uns are 21 inches square roughly, hoping for a TASTY yield come 60ish days from now.

8 days into 12/12, everything's looking hunky dory, the big'uns now stand 75 cm tall by 70 cm wide. Rapidly running out of height as well as width now, the stretch is allowing more light down to the lower growth now as well which is cool - just hoping the stretch does calm at the 2 week mark and a little nuggin' up can begin  :hello:

    Happy belated christmas y'all

    day 22 of flower:

This is a ghetto as hell clone/mother box that I had to bodge up through necessity (lack of room!) 125w cool blue cfl, they're getting too big so I've just been repeatedly savaging them.

The two big ones are white widow x skunk#1 and must both surely be getting root bound by now, hopefully they'll make it to the harvest of the others before becoming too constricted.
The three clones are rooted and growing, used no fancy gels or owt, just chopped 'em off the plants and dunked 'em in the soil, shocked at the 100% success.
So everything is hunnnky dory, just need some high phosphorus/potash fert for the last month or so on the biguns.

Anesthesia only has a couple weeks to go, so she's getting nothin' but water from here on.

Have unsurprisingly massively over estimated my veg time, plants are gigantic, had to tie down and snap a few stems over quite liberally, but they still seem happy as larry.

See you in the new year! X x

Everything is happy days! Oddly the Snowbud, the most indica plant of the bunch is thus far the slowest to flower, although already you can see where it gets its name, everything is becoming coated in crystals. The Moby is very dense with fewer calyxes while the Special Queen is light fluffy and one of the hairiest plants I've ever seen.

Had a little phosphorus deficiency unsurprisingly now flower is well under way, so have added some biobizz bloom to the fert regimen, along with the molasses and a little of the Tomorite I've used throughout.

I'll be back soon for further plant pornography - so for all you chubby chasers out there ;) keep your eyes peeled for imminent nuggery.

Crazy alien looking nugs on this babe and she smells severely potent - I think this will be the highest quality smoke of the three, though I think she's gonna take quite a while longer to mature.

Pretty, pretty looking plant this one - I've taken a cheeky nug down already to sample and she's lovely even pre-cure, so high hopes for the finished product!
