Yooo wassup, this is my first grow so what better place to start it. THANXXXXXXX GRASSCITY!!! Ok, I actually had started this post already it's just I posted it in the wrong section. Here's the details so you guys kno what I'm working with Strain Type: EASY RYDER (Joint Doctor) Hydroponic System: Grandmas Secret Garden (9 Plant) Lights: 2700w grow lights (will switch to cooler lights for flowering) Nutrients: Moon Dust (think that's what it's called lol) Booster: Co2 Boost Enhancer 7 out of 9 plants have sprouted and are active. DAY 9 Just like promised, new pics Mannnn the ladies are doing their thing. I out a little more water in my reservoir to keep em refreshed. They're all looking good, the 1 that was leaning is still leaning... But still looks healthy. I don't know if this is normal or what??? Feedback needed -allGASnoBREAK
Looks pretty good meng.. first.. it's switch out the 2700k bulbs out fir 6500k.. the 2700k are warmer.. for flowering.. the other are cooler.. and they look like to me they are stretching for light.. if those are cfls you should bring them pretty close.. like 2inches or so.. so the back of your hand is comfortable under the light.. that's how far away from the plants.. sending good grow KARMA your way! O.and.. fill those net pots up with either clay balls or those little spongy things.. helps keep light out of your tub.. and it would help support those longer plants
Sorry.. for multi replies.. also what's any of your numbers.. like ph,ppms, anything else added in the mix, like an aquashield.. temps.. stuff like that.. I will admit I haven't gone to the original thread with the first few days journaled.. I go check that out.. Lol..
Yo thanks for those quick pointers homie, I just put some plugs in the open holes to keep the light out. Glad u mentioned that. Also don't panic, I was speaking wrong info... My lights are the 6500w n not the warmer ones lol. I'm new to this! -allGASnoBREAK
O.am not panicked.. Lol.. they are still young.. easy fix.. after a few weeks introduce maybe one or two warmer bulbs.. I just read the original thread.. nothing mentioned on your numbers.. info.. how many bulbs.. watts.. stuff like that.. pics are nice.. info is much better with them glad to help out whenever I can.. I'm basically still new myself to dwc.. my first attempt.. with research and as plan everything works out!.. I would bee worrIed with 7 plants in that space.. you might want to thing scrog screen or something.. again.. a pic of the entire cab to get an idea?.. can't wait to see this grow.. I'm subbed
N I honestly don't know what my levels are. My he vendors I purchase my GSG system from said the nutrients (Moon Rocks) is all I need. No worries, hopefully that's legit. -allGASnoBREAK
You should know your levels.. hydro is pretty much like that.. ppm and ph meter a must.. you don't want to over feed... or underfeed.. if the ph isn't right.. it might not even take up any nutes... plus root rot issues.. ugh...would hate to see you have any issues with such a great germ rate.. just keep those things in mind brotha!
My set up is 6 lights at the top, the 6500's. 2 fans high, one low and one raised. And the DWC reservoir type flow. I'm thinking about balancing the plants and spacing them apart since I have those vacant spots too. May give em more room to grow ya kno. -allGASnoBREAK
Yea.. those roots will get tangled!.. that's why I switch to one bucket one plant.. give them room to breath and boy they will bloom for ya.. Lol..
Yea, tomorrow evening imma space em out as best as possible. When transferring them do I need gloves or anything? And did you use a boost with yours? -allGASnoBREAK
You just pulling them up and placing then in different holes.. no gloves.. I'm not putting boost in mine, pk booster from iconic till flower ish time..
What size are those net pots? 2 in?.. judging by the cube.. those will need bigger I would think.. like 3.75 min.. If you get a chance.. go take a peek at the Simple DWC thread, it's full of awesome info.. Definately one resource I used..
Not trying to be a pain, but I don't really see anything much about lights. I assume you're using CFL, just screwing up the spectrum? How many CFL's are you using for 9 plants though? You're either going to have to upgrade to a good light, or get a shitload of CFL's. How much are you trying to grow?
Not 100% if their CFL's or not. I have 6 6500w lights in, the squiggly lookin light bulbs. I'll check later to get exact info, but their the lights that came with the "Grandmas Secret Garden" grow box. I'm guessing their enough for nine plants since their SUPPOSE to be the experts lol. -allGASnoBREAK
I dint think six is enough.... I had 6·32watters on just two plants.. you should snap a pic of entire setup.. they are Definately stretching tall..
that's a CFL and 6500 isn't the watt's it's the spectrum. It's probably a 23 watt bulb or something unless you bought a big one. You need more lights if you want to grow anything substantial. Especially with 9 plants.
I have no idea what grandma's secret garden is, but it seems like a waste of money. What are you trying to accomplish? How much bud do you want to grow?
