yes I see amber, its been done yes I see amber, its been done You may as well wait till Christmas or next spring and reveg it, seems like you dont want to harvest.
ok whatever now, i will just keep them on 11/13 until next week's sunday and just chop it up, been waiting too long... Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Yea. My point is at this stage that bitch is flowering. Making an hour adjustment in dark period isn't gonna do anything. Do whatever you feel like then cop her down.
Returning a plant to veg takes like 2+ weeks of 24 or 18/6. Not gonna happen over a one hour shift as long as you don't add an hour every night or go longer than say 14 hours of light.
zippy, it may take two weeks to see a change, but it very much begins, hormonally, the day you increase or decrease length of daylight hours. but as you and i mentioned for the OP it doesn't matter with being ready to chop now. once you increase light that triggers the plant to change and it decreases trichome production, so to speak and begins to put more energy into re-vegging.
here's a good read on the subject zippy, hope it helps to disperse any hearsay. http://www.employees.csbsju.edu/ssaupe/biol327/Lecture/flowering.htm
Ok duder. I read every word of that excerpt, and while there is absolutely nothing in there that would support your claim that a one hour augmentation in the cycle in late flower would cause any effective hormonal shift, there are several that explain why it wouldn't. Here's my favorite: "Once the inductive signal has been received then the plant meristem is said to be "determined". In other words, it is now committed to flower." Two questions: 1) do you not read our simply not understand what you read? 2) when was that written? It seems pretty outdated in its handling of bio chemistry. ..
i figured you may miss it, but i would encourage you to find more. 5.One inductive photoperiod may suffice to induce flowering (i.e., cocklebur, Japanese morning glory); or, flowering many require several days, with a cumulative effect. one inductive photo period and or several days. btw if "Once the inductive signal has been received then the plant meristem is said to be "determined". In other words, it is now committed to flower." were true in cannabis you would never be able to reveg cannabis. i don't mind helping out those less fortunate in plant physiology, in fact i enjoy it, but the your attitude is not so good so have a nice day and enjoy.
And you basically can't reveg cannabis for the record. It's not easy. Some will just die because they are committed to flower. Again I say try it. Takes 3 weeks minimum and you really have to shock the shit out of them. It's basically killing the plant and then bringing it back anew
Gonna let this one go. You clearly don't read anything. You are 100% Epeen and it's frustrating. You can, and i said youcan, but that's not the point. The point is it doesn't work the way you originally claimed. One hour change will do absolutely nothing except deliver 8% more light to the grow.
I'm cutting my plant tomorrow or after tomorrow, is it a good idea to give it a two days dark period before cutting it? I have read this somewhere but want to be sure before doing anything so that it doesn't end like my decision to increase dark period from 12/12 to 10/14.
