Perpetual harvest

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by aKfrosty, Nov 22, 2013.

  1. How do I harvest a plant everyday if I want each to veg at least a month? How many would I have going in veg, clone, and flower? I'm thinking since it takes generally 2 months to flower, divide 365 days by 90 days(2 months flower 1 month veg) and then that'll give me how many plants I need total, divided by 3 stages of growth (veg clone and flower) that gives me 30 plants in each stage, which makes sense to me. Does this sound right to anyone else?

  2. Head ache grow. I suppose you'll also want over an ounce for each plant too.

I'm not gonna do the math so ill say "yeah sure."

Keep a perpetual simple I'd say.

Harvest every week or so, less time consuming. At the rate of harvesting every day you'd also be taking a clone every day, cutting mothers, trimming, cycling drying and curing stages..etc etc etc.. You'd be a full time grower spending more money than your making wether you grow for use or for more people.

Is this a personal grow or is it for multiple people?

I'd say every 2 weeks too

  4. Headache.
I run a perpetual room, and I dont want to harvest every week let alone every day. I set up for harvest usually every two weeks.
Seperate veg room. And when two plants are ready for harvest, I take two out of the veg room and move them over.
That simple. It does help if you are cloning your own mother though, then over time you will know how long it takes for clones to root, and best veg time. I usually veg for a month under a few banks of t5s.

  5. I agree with the above posters. Everyday would be too much.

  6. I'm just thinking hypothetically, if I wAnt to open a store I need to figure how much product I'd need.
I'm actually thinking I'd like to run 20 basic strains year round, getting about a pound per plant.
Yes yes y'all think I'm fucking nuts, but it's possible ok? I wouldn't mind this being a full time job because well, IT IS! You can't just throw some seeds in soil and expect to pull good numbers. Everything takes time and effort

  7. Plus, it's not really work if you enjoy doing it!

  8. How do I say this without sounding like I'm bashing in you.....?

Are you just fucking with us?

You want to open a "store" based on a perpetual grow of one plant a day yielding 1 dry pound each? And you plan on affording this project how if your full time job is taking up all your money?

I have a full time job in construction. I get paid decent enough and it's still hard to afford growing expenses sometimes. And it's a bit hard to find time to tend to 4 small plants when you have what some people call "a life".. Well maybe not 4....but more than 12 starts to get really time consuming!

  9. Yeah, thats a bit over the top, daily harvesting would be a 40 hour a week job. But if you know what you are doing than this IS feasible, and you could make money. Take what everyone says with a grain of salt.Btw.Im going to crush your dream. You are not going to regularly pull one pound of dry bud off large crop grows, (as you would need for a daily harvest) if you know what you're doing expect 2-4 oz per plant in a large set up... its nearly impossible to train, love and give attention to every plant in a large crop setting. If you had 31 plants in flowering at all times amd staggered them by a day each, with respects to the fact that your harvest time would have to be spot on.... it is possible.. but you would need an absolutely immaculate grow room and an absolute dedication to working full time, if not around the clock. But in all reality theres a big difference between possible and plausible.
