I will be showing my progress with Ice River Genetics.
Starts are under a 2' 4 bulb t-5 and several cfl's of various sizes in the warm hue.
When I make the flip I will be running a MH hanging 4 to 6 hours a cycle with the other lights.
I don't plan to worry too much about deficiencies nor ph nor any other matter too much.
My recycled mix has been used in other grows.
November 1 I wet a couple beans and got a Supra Crunk up and running

Here she is at 2 weeks          Supra Crunk

When I didn't get more than the one Supra Crunk to pop, I tried some of the Moon Baby fems.  I got 2 cracked  but it took them nearly 2 weeks to get open

Moon Babies.  Took me 10 days and a shot of coconut water to pop these babies.  You will see the damaged cotyledons where it was stuck inside the shell all that time.
I was gonna toss em but I can honestly say the coconut water solution did the trick.
    2 shots of each

  2. Hey NekidBudz,

Welcome to the organics forum! And you use recycled soil, too...I hate you already. :devious:

Okay, not really...but I just can't get recycled soil to work for me, so I vent whenever possible. :smoking:

The Supa Crunk looks awesome at two weeks. All of the IRG gear is a step above, but the Crunk really stands out from the crowd. You're gonna love it!

    See ya...

  3. Welcome NBz! I'm guessing it must be just my computer since Papawayne can see the pics. I hope to see you around!

  4. Hola NKBudz can't see the pics but that's probably because I just got a new pc

  5. Hey my friends,
I screwed it all up and needed a fix which took alllllll danged day, blame PW lol.  I'm getting camera lessons and I hope it helps but more than that I hope I care enough to make the effort.    Hopefully after Thanksgiving I will have things sorted on the computer side of things and not so reluctant to join in.  I think this little run will be worth the effort.

  6. Nice looking plants NB! What is in the recycled soil? Kinda curious.

  7. Hey TJ, thank you
I've seen you around,  it's nice to meet you.  I just use whatever G suggests.  He's my sensei.
I've been using it awhile and add protekt to the water and DDD's coconut water solution and mulched in a lil comfrey on tp.   They seem to like it.
The thing about soil mixes is there are lots of things that do the same thing so you figure out what you get in your area and can afford and use that one.  Don't need all of them just so you know how they release and what ratios is best for each.

"Welcome to the organics forum!"Where can I find the organics forum? Or any grow forum? I've been looking and looking and can't find shit! I can only comment on other people's topics. The best I've been able to do is post a thread in the general section of the chill out zone where I fear there are just a bunch of stoners who smoke more than they grow. Please help!Never Grow It Alone!!

  9. Hey NekidBudz,

Your SupaCrunk looks beautiful! Healthy and strong  :metal: I'll be watching this one closely, looks like it's going to be a bomb  :D Is she showing sex yet?

Good luck with the Moon Babies too!  :smoke:

  10.
This is one of many corners of the Organics forum on GC, Leafy. Do you want to start your own journal or just trying to find some information? Either way there is a tab "Marijuana cultivation" at the top of this page, click on that and browse growers' threads away  :)  Hope this helps.

  11. Thank you, I figured out the problem..it was so odd. I've been using the app I found but it doesn't give access to those growing sections like the main website does. I guess I can only use the app to view and comment and start topics in those limited forums.

So thank you, I'm finding my way around this place! lol I was about to leave!

I'm looking for a solid place that my threads will be seen by beginner growers who need a second opinion. I've got lots of experience and info from hundreds of different growers just waiting to be introduced to aspiring new cannabis cultivators!

My main experience is on getting the most out of smaller grows but I've worked in larger commercial grows as well.

    Thanks again!

  12.  I pick and choose, make a compatibility analysis based on what I can get and afford.  I compare so I know how much time before each breaks down, and when and how long I can expect it to be effective and when I need to add what.  This mix contains a good bit of cotton seed meal but I am companion growing comfrey and planning to use that for bumps in the N.  now it's been used awhile it's getting good I can tell by the smell and texture.  Last year I added some virgin mix to it because it was looking mucky by now all the pots have nice soil with happy wigglers in them.  I am adding a lot more perlite to the mix for growing inside too.
The recycled mix is my original batch; peat based then the second; coco.
The 2 batches were mixed in the 3rd grow and both had issues easily addressed in the first couple of grows until the ingredients started going off more in tune together.  I found when I made an organic mix it isn't perfect right away.  It's like wine or whiskey, it takes some time to get there.  You do have to prime the pump so to speak.
:smoke: (this page is in my opinion based on my own personal experience and conclusions,  just take from it what you will.
I also smoke a lot of weed so I may not always make sense but I see it clearly in my head  )
If you note the time it takes for availability and the time availability fades then try your best to match them and in the first couple rounds you will supplement with a couple teas and emulsions and worm castings on top but I plan to ride through any issues to note the plants reactions and self correction abilities.  At some point the qualities of the soil changes and there is a smell and consistency and you simply just know it's there.   We are after the flowers after all so I'm not going to stress over the foliage or anything and see what happens. It will be good to know what do you get if you leave it the fuck alone.
I'm pretty sure the dirt is good we'll see,  I did want to do 2 tea washes but changed my mind.  I will probably give it a boost 7 or 10 days after the flip.
So about the dirt  :confused_2: soil?  skirt?  I guess you have to get your hands dirty   it cannot be described by me.  Get your hands in it and smell it watch it go through the changes.  And of course keep your worms like pets and pretty soon they are everywhere. :ey:
Here's the Menu   I hope it helps you out.

  14. G is a really good sensei to have fer growin the sensi. He really knows his shit. Maybe he'll let me join his school and we'll all be sensei status one day hah.

  15. Okay, I see the pics now and yeah...that SC is looking greeeeeen and nice! Im liking your approach on this one. No obsessing over the leaves and what not. Just shoot through the bs to the budz!

  16.
Hey 3D, I got my mass heater up and running keeping it a consistent 70ish degrees and up around 80 in the grow room w/lights on @ night.  PR helped me get things arranged just right, advising me on setting up my smaller grow space and lights and I think my dirt is finally where it needs to be for a care free grow.
Hey TJ,  I'm still looking for the better menu I had and will post it when I find it.

  17. that Crunk looks amazing! she'll do a lot after the flip too....

man that babe is a real looker....I'll be watchin this one close. I am runnin 7 in flower right now.

The little Moon Babies have moved along well and change before I can get them posted.  They are strong and starting to spread the leaflets and open out.  I kind of think those that make it through a struggle in the beginning can be some of the strongest but then too they can turn into duds just as easily.  The way these little punkin heads came out of their struggle like troopers makes me think I'm going to have some fine girls here.  Also thanks 3D for the Coconut water solution recipe, I think it saved their lives and thus more time for me.
They are quite beyond this, they change everyday.

  19. Im glad that I could help you out with the coconut solution. I really am trying to link the purpose of the various enzymes in that water with how they can function to sprout the seeds they come from, particularly gibberellic acid and how it modifies endo sperm to release all the other enzymes (like in barley seeds). I know there's something there but I just don't have the intellect to track it down other than testing the theory during seeds soaks and watching whether it consistently helps with stubborn to pop seeds.

  20. I wouldn't mind checking out the barley seeds, I forgot to post the link to your post in the doc.  If you know which it is that would be nice, your thread runs pretty strong.
Do you know how long the pure coconut water lasts in the refrig?  The solution doesn't seem to run out too quick with one plant and a couple babies.
Does the solution need refrigeration?  How often should I use it?  I just transplanted the Crunk in a 20 and added 1/2 gal of 9ml per gallon.
