Frozen nettle tea?

  1. So I made a fermented nettle tea earlier in this year in the spring and its been stored in an air tight container outside in a little shed, was gonna bring it inside for the winter and its half frozen.

Do you guys think its still alright to use?

  2. Take the cap off of it and take a good whiff. It should smell really, really sweet and like chopped kale.

In all seriousness it might be very acidic and you should test that IMO. But smell it anyway. It should smell pretty good.

  3. As long as you're not smelling alcohol you're perfectly fine. Botanical teas can soak for months and be totally fine to use. It's the alcohol that can be a killer - alcohol will kill your plants instantly.

I remember Chunk talking about saving pesticidal concoctions in ice cube form; this will not only store for long term but will also help make things easy to pre-measure for later use.
