I wouldn't give them anything yet if they are 2 days old. Just plain water will be fine. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Agreed...when the second set of serrated leaflets appear, start a VERY dilute solution. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I've been looking for a job for a couple months now and im low on cash. If anyone needs a trimmer or something in southeast mi please pm me. I know things get busy with the outdoor season right about now.
Hi friends, was wondering if someone might hit me with some advice about spider mites. Never had any issues, an all of a sudden the little f'ers show up. Got a feeling they hitched a ride on me from the local hydro shop but who knows. Lights were recently flipped, flowers just getting going, I soaked them with this zero tolerance stuff that was recommended. Stuff I've been reading bout these mites make me think maybe I should cut my losses, chop em, put em in the fire pit, clean out an start over, any suggestions appreciated Sent from my Nexus 5 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
How far are you in flower? You can try spinosad and use double what the directions call for. You can try using 4 no pest strips at once. Also a product called sns 217
Spinosad works great for eradication and you can buy it at any hydroshop. I use ahimsa neem oil with protekt twice weekly until a week into flower , Havent seen them bastards in a couple years. Learning how to spray diluted essential oils, lavender in particular, can work wonders as well. Exploding mites anyone? CW
Thanks for responses, my budget at the local shop hooked me up with Rosenthal's zero tolerance, damn stuff expensive, frickin killed em, found 1 survivor, guess ya gotta suffocate/drown the little f.... Sent from my Nexus 5 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Glad you got it under control. Don't forget to spray every 3 days for a few weeks. The eggs will keep hatching.
Hope everyone is doing well and everything is growing good! I will take some new photos to share in the next few days.
Here is a quick picture of flower still under construction. Don't mind all the cords from the reflectors...they will be nice and neat soon.
Depends on the genetics. Just started takin em down in the GH. Couple early finishers are hangin, some got till november yet. Hopfully the rain stays at bay. CW
Holy shit November. won't the frost mess them up? I am all indoors, I don't know squat about outdoors. Those are some nice sized buds there.
Thanks pop. This was/is our first year running outdoors in a greenhouse. The ladys are covered so as long as everything stays good , there gunna stay put. :bonging: looks like another sunny day in the mitten, hope everyones enjoying it while its here CW
