Dixie Botanicals, CBD and Type 1 Diabetes

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by CGNoodle, Nov 5, 2013.

  1. So I have a friend who has type 1 diabetes for a very long time and is clinically blind.

So I told him about what i learned from the hemp oil and he tried to ingest one that he bought from the dispensary after getting his mmj card and it was super effective with normal blood sugar levels for three days until his supply run out.

The oil is too expensive so I researched and found a site called dixiebotanicals dot com where they are selling CBD oils for cheap and they use industrial hemp for their oils.

So my friend gave it a try and bought the capsule form.

It wasn't so promising according to his latest email for me:

    ---------------------

It appears that canabidiol does not work for type 1 diabetes. I received the shipment Wednesday, and I have been taking the supplement ever since. Last night, I experienced some very strange side effects taking canabidiol. For whatever reason, my blood sugars were very high with apparently no other reason than ingesting the canabidiol oil. I also felt very weak and quite ill. This reaction happened after I swallowed only one 25 mg capsule. I then took repeated shots of insulin to counteract my unusually high blood sugar readings-but my sugars remained very high throughout the night. I'm thinking that I may be allergic to canabidiol, because of my body's reaction.

But hey, at least we know now that canabidiol is not good for my system.

It's interesting, but when I ingested actual hemp from the dispensary over a three-day period, my sugars were normal and I felt better than I have ever felt in a long time.

Last night's reaction was truly bizarre and it took me by surprise.

Oh well, back to the drawing board.

In Rick simpson's book, he says that there's not enough THC in the stalk/stems/seeds to make much of a difference in the healing process. He claims that the active THC is what does the trick. He does not recommend canabidiol as a treatment.

Unfortunately, in order to purchase enough medical marijuana to make enough THC laden oil, it will cost approximately around $4000 to make enough oil for Rick Simpson's prescribed six-week treatment in the case of type 1 diabetes.

I've got some serious saving to do!!! LOL! But I'm going to continue writing and doing some very limited training. Eventually, I will have money saved up for a treatment. And who knows? Maybe the current laws will change and the price will come down.

Eventually, I think we will find a workable solution.

    ---------------

I was thinking if the other ingredients included in the capsule was responsible for this:

    1.)powdered conjugated linoleic acid
    2.)hemp oil
    3.)rice starch
    4.)turmeric
    5.)white willow bark
    6.) baking soda

    Perhaps the rice starch?

So what do you think happened here guys? For the moment we are halting on the CBD dosage from these capsules and will think of other ways to get his hemp.

  2. It's because that garbage from Dixie is made with industrial hemp... what they really mean is industrial waste...  Their CBD is just a byproduct of the production of hemp oil (and other products )in China and other places, using hemp grown who knows how, with who knows what chemicals...

Don't use Rick Simpson's recipe!  He uses naphtha (paint thinner) which is an industrial solvent and very poisonous.  He claims it all evaporates, but there is no evidence to prove that, and there have been reports of people with elevated levels of benzenes in their bodies after ingesting naphtha-produced oil.
What you want to do is use Rick's recipe (which is just decarboxylated botanical oil) and MAKE IT WITH PURE ETHANOL (Everclear, grain alcohol, good moonshine--whatever the highest proof alcohol you can get).

Would you mind if I copied this story?  I know people who are very interested in cannabis oil medicine and have been researching Dixie and their parent company, Medical Marijuana Inc, for their deceptive practices.
