Post your tommy chong piece and a story if you have one!My dad helped me buy this on my 16th birthday. He was dying of liver cancer and awkward enough (I suppose) we both smoked buds. He said if I came up w my half he'd pay for the other (to teach me a lesson about owning my own things. I have had this thing 12 years this December!) This model is thin on the bottom and w no bong bag and closet storage it's a miracle I haven't smashed it. Anyways if you have a favorite chong post it up!Bamboo model w percolator ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1383028201.701029.jpg ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1383028247.551074.jpg

  2. Very nice. I know people like to hold onto those cause of their history and story. Take good care of it like you have, since your dad helped you if it was me if only smoke out of it once a year in rememberace of your dad...on his bday, Father's Day, Xmas....whatever means the most. I'd hate to see it get broke from daily use :(

If I ever come across one locally I'll be snatching it right up!

  3. please store that safely man, that would be a true shame to have that break- and on a level far different than simply breaking a bong.

  5. Sweet piece. Twelve years, damn dude, I can't even go 6 months without breaking a solid bowl, let alone a bong.

  6. Really cool! Neat story to go with it too OP. Love when people take care of their pieces and keep them around. Thanks for sharing!

  7. I really think it's a magical bong. The rips smell better, I cough more and get all nostalgic about certain things. Hard to not use her as a daily smoker when she brings me so much joy. :)

Reading this made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Shit OP you brought dem feels on... Your dad sounded like an awesome guy and those pieces are dope dude. Keep taking care of them, crazy that you've kept them for 12 years man, shows how much you really value and treasure them.
I've no Chong pieces myself but wanted to show my appreciation for your post :)
    Happy toking!

Ribbed on the inside. Never seen any other of this one. Has two. One w red knobs one w blue. Called them the twin towers. Friend broke my roor and in repayment gave me these two. I long ago traded them to two brothers. Safe to say they are both in working order without original bowls tho :(

I met Tommy Chong, Cheech Marin, and Shelby after a concert.

I kept telling Shelby she was gorgeous and asking her to get the boys to come say hello.

After a few mins she gets them, but a crowd gathered and pushed me aside. I stepped up to the red velvet curtain and pulled it aside as a few police officers charged over to stop me.

Tommy was right behind the curtain and I surprised him, and he surprised me. All I could think to say was, "wasup brotha?"

He had the deer in the headlights look since the wall(curtain) he was standing against had suddenly vanished. My bro in law snapped a pic of him looking my direction in complete shock, but sadly only my arm was visible. I assume I must've had the same shocked look on my face.

Tommy muttered back to me, "heeey."

Within moments the officers were near me so I slipped into the crowd and out the nearest exit.

Had been trying to get the backstage guys to sign some stuff I had but dude was afraid of losing his job. I regret now not offering him a 20 anyways to get some stuff signed.

Still, was an epic night. Got to see them perform comedy, also got to see tower of power (which I met a few members) and WAR.

    Awesome night I'll never forget. I swore I'd meet them n I did! :)

Edit: Op, I feel for you n your father. Thank you for sharing that beautiful story with us. Take care.

  15. Def wanna look for the chong marble. There were a few different designs for Chongs face in the marble. I've seen like 3. And there's like 25 ish different models they made before getting shut down. Send me a pm if you find one I'll help figure out what model and if it's authentic. A buddy of mine had 14 and is selling 1 or 2 currently.
