where are they hiding their bong parts??

    I've been making homemade bongs since i was twelve(many moons ago) out of plastic, i never even thought of a glass bong. so after a couple weeks of blazing i saw the first "real" glass bong i'd ever seen, just a little 9mm inside out carnival glass 6-7in, but ofcourse to the little 12 year old me, it was the best bong on earth haha. so that got me really fascinated in making glass bongs, (keep in mind this was 6-7years ago) but there were no tutorials on youtube, nothing on GC, Rollitup, etc. so i continued looking until about 3 months later someone was saying they used diamond bits to drill vases... so for 6 years Ive done nothing with this knowledge(common knowledge now) and still have not made a homemade glass bong, so I'm going to try and buy diamond bits and sets of grommets stems and bowls. Im going supply shopping later today so I have some questions about glass bong making for y'all before i go spend  $40 on the wrong bits
     
    1. what size of diamond bits do you use for (GonG -18mm 14mm) and 9mm
    ---and i also would like to know what specific grommet ill need and if the size your mentioning is with a grommet and stem or just stem.
     
    2. whats the best site to buy wholesale bowlpieces downstems and grommets.
    ----and u think headshops would do bulk deals or sell them all same price
     
    3. besides thrift shops/good will what are the best places to buy vases
    ---or what do you make your homemade bongs out of?
     
    4. any tips, suggestions, or words of wisdom from our knowledgable GC family?

    yeah i would say get a decent sized bit i got this bong but i dont know what size the grommet is but this one is 1/2 so get something either a little bit bigger or this one because if you drill it oo small then you are f&$#ed because it usually breaks if you switch to a bigger drill bit (for me at least ) :/ but i would get a pretty big one because they are smaller than they look

    thank you for the input i appreciate it bro. did you buy all those bits together, if so how much was the set? and are those carbide or diamond?
