Thanks for the share this is nice! As you said she seems to be picking up a little bit more, don't stop!
Thank you Audles, keep up your research. Your knowledge is the critical success factor for growing success. That, and patience. So readers, on the heals of a successful topping I began my LST. I am using pipe cleaners and small binder clips. I expect I will take one loop around the perimeter of the pot then decide what to do next. Some of this will depend on how much time it takes to work around the pot. I think I am heading into week six of veg so if it can make good progress in four weeks it might serve as a good time to switch to flower then. I am not going to get ahead of myself though. Just one day at a time, always patient and learning.
Week 6 and the adventure continues. The benefits of my topping are starting to show and the LST has gone well. Unlike weeks past, no new problems have emerged. Have hope a good feeding today so eager to see how that is received. Using fox farm trio, 30% strength, without tiger bloom of course. Main observation is how compact this plant is. Totally dense.
Week 7 and I am pleased. My recent topping produced two great offshoots which I am working LST. All growing elements are in the green. Decided will switch to flower in weeks 9 or 10.
I like the new growth! Looking a lot better. Keep topping and lst'ing and you'll have more tops that you can get a lot more bud from. Especially if you're going to veg for 9 or 10 weeks.
Does the room get any fresh air? Stunted growth happens also with the lack of fresh air and good air circulation.Keep up the good work. Trial and error is the way to learn. Check my grow!

If they look strong in a couple of days then I'll top them again, still a bit shy on topping but my first one turned out okay so I need to gain some confidence that this is difficult to mess up. Thanks

Check my grow![/quote]Lots of fresh air, the pics don't show it well. I have four intakes at the base, two are passive and two are powered with low CFM fans. Up top there are four outtakes. Two are passive chimney style vents. Two are large with 120mm decently high CFM fans. Within the cabinet there is good movement, the LED has its fans plus there is the cheap desk fan you see in the pic. I'll check your grow this afternoon and thanks for looking in on mine.
Slow progress this week. I did some additional topping earlier in the week so as expected growth was slow. Still, she's generally healthy so no need to complain.
I just saw this thread. My thoughts: Your plant is a fighter! She looks like she is liking her new environment a little more. Only time will tell the outcome

She has just taken off. I have LST cords all over the place and I am pretty sure it's time to flip to 12/12 lighting. Here is the funny thing, I have this really messed up schedule, no two days are the same so the challenge is to figure out the optimal time for lights-on. Decisions, decisions.
Week 9 and flipped to 12/12. I have to say this is most satisfying. Given my topping and FIMing, I figure I'll have about 6 buds. My only concern presently is some angular upturn on the edges of the leaves. I did a light watering tonight in anticipation of feeding tomorrow so perhaps that will have some effect. Enjoy the pics, and now on to my first journey with Flowering.
Good grief. Switched the timer to 12/12 right? Well, come to discover things have been totally in the dark for the past day and a half because I missed the small digital words of on, off, auto. So my legacy of errors continues. Actually, the plant looks fine so far but I swear I am the Charlie Brown of cannabis cultivation.

I was scared of making that same mistake when I first tried using my timer, so I spent some time testing it out and using it on other lights the day before I made the switch to really make sure I didn't mess up haha. Thumbs up on the switch! Now you're ready to see the beautiful flowersssss.
What a great week of growing. Things are going great. I am alternating watering and feeding, watering with a light cal/mag supplement and feeding with a half strength bloom formula. The plant has a couple imperfections but nothing to be overly concerned about presently.
Week 2 of flower. LST efforts continue. I am probably up to 8 tie-downs using the pipe cleaner and bracket clip method. Last week I did some super cropping and broke a branch. Repaired with tape and it worked! Watering on Wednesdays and feeding on Saturday or Sundays, bloom formula and very light. Temps okay but on the cool side. Thoughts welcome on anything. And here is a pic with the little one which is part of the solo cup challenge
This is a look back on a tough couple of weeks. Hope is looking bad but limping along. Remember, I am THE unlucky grower. That good old cold snap in the US had my temps plummet, then there was a cal/mag problem, and a neighbor plant got spider mites. What next I ask.
Thanks but it's cool. Just taking it one day at a time. Heck, some people say that stress makes better weed so perhaps this will result in super weed.
